Re: Heart Pain (Leila)
Leila stepped on. The unease increasing as she grew closer in proximity to the creature.
"To the other shore, please."

The creature stared at Leila and said
"There are many more shore than you can imagine creature, where to? exactly."

Re: Heart Pain (Leila)
Leila felt her heart sink. She had no clue what other shore he was referring to if there had been more than one.
"I don't know, Chester just left me with instructions that he'd wait for me on the other shore. Do you know him? Do you know Chester? He looks Hispanic with many tattoos and when we got here he had on many accouterments, a rain jacket, lots of weapons and jewelry... "
Leila was baiting herself not to become worried that she'd been abandoned and lost, left for dead in hell forever. Something in her held strong, she had no idea what but she didn't let her voice waiver while she spoke and her head was still held high.

The thing said
"Do not waste my time. Where to or I'll just throw you in the Sea"

Re: Heart Pain (Leila)
Leila shuddered at the threat of being left abandoned forever in the dark frigid sea. That would be a hell she'd surely never escape from. She took a second to think about where she'd wanted to go. An idea stabbed at her but she had no idea if she was right or not.
"Hart Island then."
She mused to the ferryman.

Re: Heart Pain (Leila)
The Ferryman turned his back on Leila and started to move his boat into the sea, challenging the stormy waves of the dark sea in the expected direction. Inside of the dark water Leila could see zombies and tormented souls swiming and being drowned over and over again by invisible leashes, chains and weeds of many kinds. It seemed like an endless torture judging by the despair and horror in their faces.
The wind blew the screams and moans of far tortures filling the air with nothing but the sound of hell itself, at far lands Leila could see impaled bodies with a stake up their asses and up to their mouth still struggling to release from the sticks. This hell seemed endless.
As the Ferryman was crossing the river Leila felt how every hope and happy moment of her life was being taken away by the sea, the horrifying vision of hell was simply too much to bear and more than enough to go crazy.

Leila watched the sea toss and toil underneath her. Her wide eyes noticed the despaired souls drowning and screaming, drowning and suffering in an endless rotation. The individuals staked throughout their whole bodies were too much much too much.
She felt all the pleasantries she'd ever experienced in her life draining out of her. Pulling all of her darkest and worst memories to the forefront of her mind. Over and over she was plagued with the abuse of her father, the tragedies that her mother suffered through, the news of her death. All of it coming back and haunting her. She shivered and began to wail, sorrow and grief filling her. Leila's cold body shrank into the boat, she coiled her legs tightly to her body and buried her head in her lap, trying not to see the turmoil all around her. Wanting to escape the tragedies around her.

Re: Heart Pain (Leila)
Eventually the boat got to the other side and the monster aboard of it commanded Leila with his blazzing fire purple eyes and underground voice.
"You've been served, we are in The Heart's Island"

Re: Heart Pain (Leila)
Leila stayed on the ground in her turmoil. It took her a while to register that the boat stopped. She stood wearily and looked around. Then she stepped off the boat and onto the Island.
"Thank you."
Leila muttered and looked upon her new surroundings.

Re: Heart Pain (Leila)
This is the complex, the structure its similar to this picture except that: there is no green, all trees are dead, the soil is grey and black covered with bone ashes and coal, many dead bodies in flames hanging from the trees in cages like they were lamps, nude black and grey stones and the Castle seems to be abandoned as for maintance but very populated, crowded actually.
At the shore were many dead man walking, naked and leashed with a chain to the neck. This zombies didn't seemed to be aware they were just walking around picking up shiny and interesting stuff dragged by the sea.
- Spoiler:
- Boldt Castle
George Boldt, general manager of the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel in New York City and manager of the Bellevue-Stratford Hotel in Philadelphia, and his family for several summers enjoyed an earlier frame cottage on Hart Island (the original name) which they greatly expanded. In 1900 the Boldts launched an ambitious construction campaign to build a huge masonry structure, one of the largest private homes in America. They engaged the architectural firm G. W. & W. D. Hewitt and hundreds of workers for a six-story "castle", a major international landmark. In addition four other masonry structures on the island are architecturally notable. Equally distinctive is a huge yacht house on a neighboring island where the Boldts had another summer home and a vast estate, incorporating farms, canals, a golf course, tennis courts, stables, and a polo field.
The construction of Boldt Castle ceased abruptly in early 1904 after the death of Boldt's wife, Louise Kehrer Boldt. For 73 years, the castle and other stone structures were left exposed to the harsh winter weather and occasional vandals. The Thousand Islands Bridge Authority acquired Heart Island and the nearby yacht house in 1977, for one dollar, under the agreement that all revenues obtained from the castle operation would be applied towards restoration, so that the island would be preserved for the enjoyment of future generations. In the two decades after acquiring the property, the Thousand Islands Bridge Authority spent some fifteen million dollars for restoration and improvements here, and work continues annually. The initial goal of the restoration of Heart Island was not to finish what had not been completed, but to restore the island to the state it was in when construction was halted. Improvements have gone beyond that stage, however; a stained glass dome, marble floor, and grand staircase woodwork, for instance, now seen in the main hall, were not original but are modern innovations.

Re: Heart Pain (Leila)
Leila looked at the decrepit island and abandoned house, the flaming trees and the dead zombies. All around her there was suffering and strangely acting beings. There were so many and the placed looked so dank and sad. She didn't waste any time trying to admire it. She started to walk along the shore, careful to avoid not touching any of the walking zombies. She looked hard for this mad man that was after her, that brought her here and then left her. She ducked and stretched and moved in circles around groups trying to find him. She grew more determined with each passing moment rather than frustrated.
"Chester! Chester!"
Her voice bellowed loudly from her hoping to catch his attention.

Re: Heart Pain (Leila)
One of the walking zombies approached to Leila, it had no eyes still it seemed able to see her, its mouth sewn and chain to the neck just like the others. This creature was not clumbsy or slow he was at least as fast as Leila if not faster.
Re: Heart Pain (Leila)
Leila tried to ignore the creepy man and kept walking, wondering if her special gifts from Set would help her in this wretched environment. She walked and searched still looking for Chester. After it became too obvious that the thing was after her she stopped and turned around to stare at it.
Her eyes narrowed showing she was not amused.
"Need something?"

Leila turned and started to run from it. There was no way she was about to let that thing get to her.

Re: Heart Pain (Leila)
Leila runs through the beach escaping from the monster that was chasing her, the creature was steady and fast, running tirelessly. Leila bumped once in a while along the way and each time the monster got closer and closer to her. Finally Leila tripped with a log hidden in the beach and the monster jumped against her, grabbing her with supernatural strength, too much for her. The creature turned Leila face up easily and used his both hands in what it seemed to be a strangle to the neck, instead the creature took Leila's necklace, stood up and began to talk away calmy resuming his search for more bright things.
Re: Heart Pain (Leila)
"Shit."
Leila murmured to herself while she got up, hand still around her neck clutching where her necklace was. She took a few seconds and put all her jewelry away in her jean pockets. She resumed to look for Chester, this time away from the beach and the lantern burning people, moving around the house where she thought there might be a cemetery.

Re: Heart Pain (Leila)
Leila stats to get away from the shore and eventually get to near a big castle in the center of the Island, a stronghold made out of black stone. It has a lift bridge, guard towers and soldiers the whole deal.
Next to the entrace of the castle near of the guards was Chester, he seemed to be waiting.

Necropolis Guard
Re: Heart Pain (Leila)
Leila walked at a calm pace avoiding the zombies and any other strange things around. Eventually she made her way towards the entrance of the house and she noticed the imposing guards and finally the mad man. This Chester that sent her here. She stopped just before getting on the draw bridge towards the door to see if he'd notice her.
