Heart Pain (Leila)

Leila couldn't shrug off the eerie feeling the subway had, so she busied herself reading the book that Elie had given her. The hour crept up on her and she realized how late it was. Almost too late to do any training, Tantra would have her ass and she wouldn't have a place to stay, her room there was destroyed. She sighed. Occasionally she thumbed the new piece of jewelry while she read then she realized what it was from the reflection. An ankh with two snakes, how fitting, she admired her reflection of it for a few minutes, her destination finally reached.

She trudged up the subway, tucking the book in her purse and her phone in her back pocket. The park made her slightly unsettled memories of her excursion there resurfacing. She hurried past it and the area began to look familiar. She trekked onward and made her way to the Serpents Lair, she went to the nightclub entrance, looking to find her sire.

The Lair was closing up, almost empty except for Pillar and the ghouls kicking out the unconciouss guest into cabs and the like, and cleaning up the mess. There was no music at this hour and much more free space, that allowed Leila to appreciate the Egyptian decoration that she wasn't able to see with the main chamber full of people.

Pillar noded to Leila from the distance saluting her...
