as he notices his sire check up.

Xavier takes out an small object from his rain coat, something like a grenade, black and made of steel. Confident he pulls out the trigger and releases the secure of it, allowing to blow...

... but ...

Instead of blowing up, it started to pour scattered smoke around, heavy smoke that would go down to the floor. As the smoke filled the air Matthais was able to see thin red lines of laser bouncing in little mirrors making a complex pattern through which not even he could go.

Whispers quietly "Shall we step over it?" Glances about through the smoke more to see if any other beams are seen.

He immediately quieted up, though in his mind, wondered if his sire had a anger issue. He waited patiently.

Xavier finished his weaving and turned back to Matthais smiling, his eyes were still injected in blood with a very unsettling pattern of blood drops and black points in it, his smile was vicious and terrifying. He lowered his hand to cut one of the laser beams and then something wierd, very very strange happend.

The Ravnos hand was interfering the laser but it was going through it like Xavier was unexistant, then Xavier moved his hand spliting the laser, open it as it was a door, making a breach in the beam not longer than a few inches in which and only there was no laser beam at all.

Shit he thought. Did his sire do this on purpose? He had to think quick and he remembered back to the dream world and how that worked.

Nothing happened, no alarm triggered, no one came to attack them. Xavier's hand was touching the beam, actually cutting it by half, leaving a blank space, a gap where without explaination there was no beam. Moving his hand farther to the right he said to his pupile in a murmur.
"Come here Childe put your hand in the gap, this is not an illusion. Just an alternative reality"

Matthais followed his sire wishes approaching dropping down to a low crouch and slid his hand through the gap, impressive magic he used. Awaiting his next instruction.
