At far Star could see Albany, her home city long time ago left when her life was stolen by the kindreds. It was odd to come back with her father after everything that have happened. Everything in it's streets was both familiar and alien. She felt filled with a sense of nostalgy and sorrow for everything she have lost so far.
She could remember the dinners as they pass by, recognized some of its landmarks a felt a little like a trip back in time to when she was just a teenager full with dreams.
As they went through Albany to its south side they reached on it's more soffisticated landmarks Albany's Royal Polo Club. A very prestigious location outside the city where only old money and their relatives could even dare to see. When she was young the gang tried to break in and make a 'trick or treat' for the snobs but the result as electrocution by tazer and a kick in the ass. The security was tight and well paid.

Star definitely had a bit of anxiety being in her own hometown. This place was filled with too many memories , both good and bad for Star's liking. It started to make remember the life she once had.
She took a deep breath and wished she had a smoke right now, at least the toxic fumes of the burnt tobacco would give her some pleasantries and calm her nerves,. She couldn't help but think of the past and what had become of her mother, and how she didn't care about her or her Father's absence and simply moved on with her life.
Hatred boiled up in Star at this thought. And the only thing that calmed her was the thought that one night far from now she would track the woman down and appear to her, untouched by the passage of time and make her suffer. Taking everything the woman had as her own and destroy everything her mother ever cared about. Star would give the woman reason enough to never to never forget her ever again.
Though this was the Sabbat side of Star's thoughts talking to her. It was a long stemming hatred Star held on to. The Sabbat had taught Star many things, and using hatred productively was one. She kept this haterd burning in her heart locked away deep inside her, until she would need to draw upon it one night. Whether it was going to be used as fuel for her enemy or for her mother was completely irrelevant.
As they passed though Albany, Brian could tell that Star was unsettled about being here. She was silent but he could tell she was lost in her own thoughts, and these thoughts were far from pleasant.
Stars mood only changed some When they reached Albany's Royal Polo Club. Star gave a small chuckle and shook her head.

"ahhh of course this place would be owned by vampires .... God we were stupid back then.... "
She said as she remembers getting her ass handed to her buy security with her friends, and running away into the night, terrified that the cops are going to get called.
Star looked around and wondered what her part to play in all of this would be. When Mr. Brick and Mr. Lawless arived Adam said he was instructed to pick up the PoWs and her by name. "Who wanted to see her And why?" Ran through her head.
She knew meeting the members of Clan Ventrue would be inevitable, that much was fact. Adam seemed extraordinary protective when the Warlock threatened to harm her. " Did the Ventrue truly care so much about their blood in her veins that they actually accept her?" and she knew that her father and her were here for more then the Sol reason of watching over the safety of these Ghouls.
Star picked up on before that her dad had been worried about the Ventrue taking her away, that must have been one of the reasons why he instated to Jezebel that he accompanied Star and state she was still under "his" accounting. Clearly her dad was worried. This was even more prevalent when Star had asked her father what she should refer to him as. Instead of calling him HellSong, the title most called him by, Brian requested Star to call him "Sire". a word in Kindred Society that holds great weight and meaning of ownership And parentage. Every time she would use that word it would state to all that were around that "She was His".
Star was never opposed to this, she loved her father greatly, and he was in turn acting as a Sire would, showing his childr how to be a proper Vampire.
Star could only wonder what the Ventrue might think of this. Guess she will just have to wait and see.

The polo club was even bigger than it looked from the outside, the green lands around it covered a huge extension, in them there were rock statues, some covered with vines and illuminated with different colours. Eventually, they got to a huge mansion on what seems to be the entrance to the actual club at least two miles inside the main entrance.
The van went around the lake in front of the mansion passing the stables and by a steel door the back where two polo fields were at each side of the road. Finally, they got to a wall of bushes and trees that extended beyond the eye could see, the road ended right in front of it. Becca could see one very hidden security camera inside one of these bushes thanks to the full moon upabove.
A minute or so after stopping the line of trees started to move appart leaving an entry, big enough to let the van inside where they found another facility.
The road continued in a curve around trees with hanging balls of light giving a very elegant fashion to the place, which passed by the main entrance to this new building where a red carpet was waiting on the floor and two buttlers were waiting for the retinue to arrive.
Adam said.
"Please go with the buttlers inside, we won't be doing anything to the ghouls except for unboarding them in another room at the back of the club."
Brian went down the vehicle and said.
"I'll trust your word. Come to me if you're ordered to do otherwise."
Adam smiled and said. "That won't happened."
Just after the two guest left the car they continued their way and one of the buttlers said.
"Good evening dearest guests, my name is Andrew. Please come with me I'll be your company until the masters are here to attend to you."

Star was slightly in awe of the estate, it was huge and extremely impractical. This was a place that cater to luxury, something that she was not used to being in the presence in, even in life. Star felt out of place and had no idea what to except.
She was silent during the ride In and took a mental surveillance of her surroundings. This was something that grew of habit, and she did this subconsciously, always trying to plot a exit or Escape Route if needed. The further they traveled in to the estate the more she was in awe.
Star followed her father's lead and left the Van, when they were greeted by the butler, she gave him respectful nod

She ask politely trying to gather more information about who wanted to see her and why she was really here, because certainly it was not for the attention of the ghouls. And the more information she gathered, she figured it would be easier for her to grasp the situation she found herself. Star was just greatful her father was her and she didn't have to face this alone.

"It's customary in our culture for the host to meet his guest, in this case Lord Valentine will have the honour to meet you as soon as he possibly can. In the meanwhile I could offer you a hot bath and a change of clothes for you to feel more comfortable around here."
As they started to walk the stairs covered in the red carpet they found themselves in a huge lobby with an inner garden surrounded with many types of flowers and in its center a blonde woman dressed as a muse, playing a harp. the sound of her instrument was superb.
Around the circle inner garden were many doors, some leading outside in different directions, others closed and the rest leading to hallways deeper into the building. Except for one desk where a several phones a two analogue clocks, one local time other from england.
Alfred was leading the way to one of the closed doors.

Brian followed the ghoul and waited for him to open the door to what seems to be a closet, larger than most appartaments with several lines of clothing all formal from evening gawns to coctail outfits all line up, sorted by colours and separated men from women dresses.
While in their way Brian said nothing. Once the ghoul pointed to the bathroom and told them that they could use any clothes they found fitting he stayed back as the two guests went inside of it. Then Brian said.
"This Valentine is a Ventrue Elder, he contested with Benjamin the Primogeniture. Eventually their clan choose and Valentine got off the grid. He is serious, someone I wouldn't want to fuck up with. That's all my guts tell me."
The bathroom had many drawers with clean underwear and towels as the ghoul described. There were many private baths inside the 'bathroom'. The walking closet they just been into was communicated to the bath-lobby with four smoked crystal doors, each leading to a piece in white marble with a shower and bathtub.

Star walked into the room and was completely taken aback by the sheer size and number of outfits here.

She thought and looked at her father a bit overwhelmed.
" Jesus Christ... A Ventrue Elder, yah I definitely don't want to fu*k up. If I thought that Commander Jezabella's punishment was harsh for mis-speaking, I don't even want to think about what these guys to would do to me."
She said worried.

"At least Commander Jezebel did teach me one thing that is definitely mind my manners.... Speaking of which... How have they been? I'm trying to be mindful of the things I say and how I say them. "
She said wanting to gauge her father's opinion on her performance so far.
Star continue to look around the room, she give us smile at finally finding some under clothing she could wear, going commando was tad bit awkward.
She turned to her dad

" Dad... Be truthful..We are both brought here for more than just escorting and overlook the transfer of the prisoners and their well being for Mistress Jezebel....

.. I knew when these Ventrue guys asked for me by name that is was something more. They were also super quick to jump to my defence when one of those Warlocks, Lord Thomas or some sh!t threatened to carve Lord Ephraim Wainwright's, name into my skull Cuz i didnt address him properly and called him "Sir" instead of "Lord".
The Kindred of the Cam really take their titles seriously... Like oh my God!
But Mr. Brick, he jumped to my defense, to the point of taking great offense at the warlocks threat, 'cuz I was of Ventrue blood. No one has ever jumped to my defense like that before , well besides you ...Am I looking too deeply into this, or should I be more concerned?
I mean I knew it was only going to be a matter of time before my presence got brought up and the Clan I found out about me... But...
Star stopped her train of thought when she saw the size and lavishness of the bathroom.

" Holy Sh!t! Is this real crystal?? This place must have cost a mint... ! "
Star said moving to inspect the baths. She starts to run the water And holds her hand under its flow.

" Hay' dad .. do you think when I get done in here you can help me pick something suitable out to wear?... I'm slight lost as to what would be appropriate... though I will enjoy seeing how nice you clean up ha ha ha.. "

"You're doing alright Star. Don't worry, if you screw up you can still learn more. In time you'll get it perfect"
Brian nods.Am I looking too deeply into this, or should I be more concerned?
"They're looking for you. I'm guessing they'll going to offer you a way in the Club. This will be your place eventually, if they offer you anything come and talk with me, to assest the opportunity."

*LAUGHTS*
The two took a hot bath and eventually got their undergarments and then to the walkin closet to choose their clothes. Brian picks up a good pair of linen, a black silk shirt with long sleeves and a pair of mounting boots, no accesories except for the belt. Overall he started to gear up with all this weapons: machete, handgun, M16 and knive just to be ready.

Star laughed along with her father, being around him helped take the tension off of the situation.
Star ran a hot bath for herself and enjoyed some of the fragranced soaps and expensive oils that were there. She use them on her hair to straighten and get many of the knots and Kinks out of it that she had accumulated during her rough existence. She was determined to try to make a damn good impression. For she knew all first Impressions start with your appearance.
She couldn't remember the last time that she actually took a relaxing bath. The hot water against her cold skin felt quite enjoyable. She let herself enjoy the calming heat of the water, for she had no idea when the next time she would ever get an opportunity like this would ever come again. Being that most her bathing experiences had been out of either a Gas station bathrooms or some drug'ys crack house.
She always had to live with the fear of being attacked or run out by the cops.
Star sank beneath the water, enjoying the fact that she actually didn't have to breathe and could stay below the surface as long as she desired.
Finally after she was done cleaning up and figured that she took enough time enjoying herself, she towled off and went to the changing room to find something suitable to wear.
She was very overwhelmed by all of the choices, and honestly didn't have any idea where to start.
She first choose some undergarments, which she was very happy to actually have again.
She slip them on and held a towel around herself as she continue to look over all of the different outfits.
Of course majority of what she saw were assortment of elegant evening gowns, cocktail dresses and other formal dresses for women. All to which Star kind of despised.
It wasn't that she truly dislike wearing a dress, she just found it extremely impractical for her current lifestyle.

" How am I supposed to fight in something like this?... if I move the wrong way this one's going to fall apart... Or have my boobs popping out.... "
She criticized as she looks through what was available.
Finally she became annoyed with herself.

" OK! Suck it up butter-cup!... I'm going to have to pick something....
Humm... OK... If I was a Ventrue ... Which I happen to be Oddly enough.. what would I be expected to wear outside of combat.
She said talking her thoughts out loud then to her Father.
"Sh!t do Ventrue even fight?..... No .. Of course not... they pay people to fight for them..... Though Mr" Scar-Face" Lawless looks like he took quite a hit at some point hee-hee..

Star looked at her Father getting ready and gearing himself up with weapons.

She said with a bit of a laugh
" these are Ventrue Dad... they'll probably hit you in your bank account before they'll actually physically assault you Hee-Hee..
But you do you I guess... Always ready for action. "

Star ran a hot bath for herself and enjoyed some of the fragranced soaps and expensive oils that were there. She use them on her hair to straighten and get many of the knots and Kinks out of it that she had accumulated during her rough existence. She was determined to try to make a damn good impression. For she knew all first Impressions start with your appearance.
She couldn't remember the last time that she actually took a relaxing bath. The hot water against her cold skin felt quite enjoyable. She let herself enjoy the calming heat of the water, for she had no idea when the next time she would ever get an opportunity like this would ever come again. Being that most her bathing experiences had been out of either a Gas station bathrooms or some drug'ys crack house.
She always had to live with the fear of being attacked or run out by the cops.
Star sank beneath the water, enjoying the fact that she actually didn't have to breathe and could stay below the surface as long as she desired.
Finally after she was done cleaning up and figured that she took enough time enjoying herself, she towled off and went to the changing room to find something suitable to wear.
She was very overwhelmed by all of the choices, and honestly didn't have any idea where to start.
She first choose some undergarments, which she was very happy to actually have again.
She slip them on and held a towel around herself as she continue to look over all of the different outfits.
Of course majority of what she saw were assortment of elegant evening gowns, cocktail dresses and other formal dresses for women. All to which Star kind of despised.
It wasn't that she truly dislike wearing a dress, she just found it extremely impractical for her current lifestyle.

After the ghoul came to the dressing room he asked trying not to be too polite.

Alfred went over the two guests and with a kind smiled he said.
"The lady is perfect but you sire... do you really need all those weapons?"
Brian snarled and said.
"The rules as were explained are to dress formally and keep my weapons in their scabbards. Did I miss anything?"
Alfred was surprised by the quick answer and replied.

Star shook her head at her father excessive need for all those weapons. She knew trying to convince him otherwise would be a wasted efforr, "he is a Gangrel after all." And that statement in her mind made her a bit sad.
Her sadness was even more compounded by the fact of her dad's reaction to her choice of outfit. Seeing the regret and rage in his eyes made her heart sink.
Star was facing a different type of jungle than her father was used too and she was terrified of it. But not because she was unprepared, more so the fact that she might actually belong here. Star shook these thoughts aside, too afraid to face any truth about them that she doesn't want to admit.

Even her father's words came off with lackluster, and she was disappointed in herself for not being able to be more "gangrel" like he was. Alfred started to walk deeper and deeper inside the Chess Club. Eventually, they got to a long corridor connecting the main entrance with another building about two hundred feet away. The corridor had open walls and the guests could see the campus around and between buildings from there.
It was a beautiful landscape, very well gardened and tastefully decored to please the eyes. Among this beautiful gardens Star could see some sort of fields, near to an empty stable. The fields were long and had several flags inline, not easy to see the details but there were steps for some sort of espectacle, althought now it was empty and partially obscured.
At the other side there were many buildings surrounding an small lake with some boats to sail throught it. This buildings were of the same architecture, partially made of wood over concrete and steel structure with polished marble and granite floors. In the center of the lake was a huge island with a giant chess board on top to cover almost every part of it.
Finally, they arrived to the next building, several wooden made rooms next to each other arranged in a circle and connected by a hallway that seemed to be surrounding the entire structure. Each room was smaller then previous, very japanese and minimalistic in style with tatamis on the floor, others with plain polish wooden floors and in each room there were different types of training swords and real swords, from european fencing to samurai katanas, ready to be used.
Eventually they started to hear a sound of fights like two sticks clashing very hard against each other in a very rapid fashion. They got to a bigger room, with many sits to look at the stellar fight of the night. Two men wearing japanese armors fighting samurai style.

Star had heard about mock- chess games played at places such as the Renaissance fair, where people dress up as chess pieces, While two people who pretend to be kings and queens play a game of live chess for the amusement of the fair goers and patrons. This is all done in fun, though she couldn't imagine why Ventrues of all people would want to take part in some sort of strange display like this.
Star was even more surprised when she heard the clatter if wooded swords, Immediately It drew her attention. Witnessing the two fight in such a fashion was quite mesmerizing.
She leaned over to her father's ear and whispered.

The fight stopped when one of the contenders kicked the other in the armor vest making him retreat tumbling and crashing against the back wall. The kick cracked the wooden armor vest but the other fighter stood up like nothing had happened and started to walk back to the tatami and bowed respectfully. The first contender also bowed and the japanese uniformed crowd of more than fifteen persons mostly men started to clap. So did Brian.
The fighters shaked hands and removed their helmets. The winner was a tall men about 5'9'' with red flawless fashioned hair and green eyes, in complexion, the guy was tall and thin, swift and dextrous movements with an special allure and such elegant posture worthy of a king. He had a face so manly and sexy at the same time that was painful to stare at.
The woman had long red curly hair that flashed in the electrical light with life on its own, her blue eyes shining like saphires and her perfect white skin was only comparable to her perfect smile. Despite the armor she was outstandanly sexy even from the heterosexual perspective.
Alfred then shouted with perfect timing.
"My Lord Valentine Gioberti its my pleasure to present your guests Sir Brian 'Hell Song' Garrison and Miss Rebecca 'Star' Garrison.
Valentine gaze came upon then and into Rebecca like an stampeed of wild stallions. At far he clapped twice and everyone around him stood up with a jump and quickly made two lines behind him. Then he said.
"Honourable guests you're most welcome to my humble house!"
For Rebecca his voice was just too sexy, it made her feel back in highschool with teenager butterflies in her stomach. She was totally unprepared for this feeling.
Then Alfred bowed and excused himself while Valentine started to jog at the door to meet his guests.
"I'm Geronte and Lictor of Coins Lord Valentine Gioberti at your service" offering his hand to Brian.
Brian smiled politely and said slowly and calmly.
"My name is Brian 'Hell Son' from Clan Gangrel and this is my Childe Rebecca Garrison. Thank you for inviting us to your house."
Valentine then turned to Rebecca meeting her eyes intensely and lifting her hand just enough for him to bow and almost kiss her.
"Miss Rebecca Garrison, Childe of the Hell Song. It is my pleasure to meet you."

Star was quite surprised to see that both of the competitors to be kindred, and that fact that they were both Ventrue simply shattered some of her preconceived notions about the Clan.

When her eyes rested on Lord Valentine's alluring features, Star was nearly beside herself. He was one of the most attractive men she had ever laid eyes on. His voice was like a serenade and The feeling of sexual attraction that stired within her twards this man she was not prepared for. Sexual desire on this level she was not used to experiencing in her hard life and perhaps under any other circumstances she would be completely smitten to by him, and probably would have her fantasizing about being his concubine for the evening.
<Oh My God They are GORFEOUS!! ♡> she thought, and had to prevent herself from staring as not to be rude.
If she was human, no doubt she would be blushing.

Valentine smiled greatly to his guests and opening wide his arms said.
"We had so short notice of your comming but still in honour of our guests we have prepared an small demonstration of hand to hand combat for you, great warriors of the Clan Gangrel.
We can't but acknowledge your prowess for safekeeping the Great State of New York and salute your bravery."
Valentine clapped twice again and his disciples made one line on two of the four sides of the tatami as contesting teams and he invited Brian and Rebecca to come and sit with him and his most trusted friend Valery, the other ginger hair woman he was fighting with.
"Allow me to introduce you to my Tribune of Exchange Lady Valery Pherguson. These are Brian 'Hell Song' and his Childe Rebecca Garrison."
Valery's ice cold ice were warmth by the candor of her smile. She was mysterious and enigmatic just by the looks of her. Her hand lifted gently toward Brian with such elegance that was mezmerizing, inviting him for kiss with saying one word. Star could tell that all her display was meant to melt Brian and she succeeded to a certain extent.
Brian wasn't as graceful as Valentine or had the etiquette to blosom with elegant manners but still meant well when he took her hand into his and reach with his lips to barely touch her skin. The vamptress was some how pleased with Brian's rude manners per haps in a sexual savage way.
"Lady Valery Pherguson. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Then Valery blinked twice with her whip like lashes and said with a mesosoprane tone of voice.
"The pleasure is all mine Sir Hell Song, your combat prowess preceed you. It's an honour to finally meet the kindred that ravaged a lupine with his barehands."
Valery moved gracefully turning toward Star and passing her arms around her without even touching a hair she simulated two kisses one in each cheek. Her aroma was divine and the perfection of her skin flawless.

While Valentine gave the Clan of Beasts praise she knew it was all ment for her Father, praise in fact he rightly deserved and Star was pleased that the Ventrue acknowledged such.
She was very curious about what type of combat the Ventrue engaged in, and if she had not witnessed Lord Valentine and Lady Valery's display she would completely not believe that the Ventrue engaged in such activities at all. The skill in which they both performed took years of practice too perfect, if not decades. Star knew it was not something that you would simply throw together on a whim for upcoming guests. This was a real facet of the clan, and a side that she could have never seen it coming.
Star was indeed excited to see more of what was to come.
When introduced, Star of course gave Lady Valery Pherguson a respectful bow.
Though she did smirk abit when her the father tried to display some sort of manners twords the woman, and she caught the allure in her eyes.
<did I just see that right?... She might like a touch of wildness Hee-Hee... These Ventrue are not quite what I expected>
Star though.
When Lady Valery made the "kissing gesture" to Star's cheeks, Star was slightly surprised. No one has ever done that to her before, or dared to come so close to her unless they shared a blood-bond together , For another predator to do so was very strange for her. And if she had the blush active she probably would have flinched. She did not, and return the gesture with a warm smile and a respectful nod.

I am pleasantly surprised and a bit in awe if I am to be completely truthful. I feel honored to have witnessed such a display, it only makes me eager to see more of what may come.
She was very curious about what type of combat the Ventrue engaged in, and if she had not witnessed Lord Valentine and Lady Valery's display she would completely not believe that the Ventrue engaged in such activities at all. The skill in which they both performed took years of practice too perfect, if not decades. Star knew it was not something that you would simply throw together on a whim for upcoming guests. This was a real facet of the clan, and a side that she could have never seen it coming.
Star was indeed excited to see more of what was to come.
When introduced, Star of course gave Lady Valery Pherguson a respectful bow.
Though she did smirk abit when her the father tried to display some sort of manners twords the woman, and she caught the allure in her eyes.
<did I just see that right?... She might like a touch of wildness Hee-Hee... These Ventrue are not quite what I expected>
Star though.
When Lady Valery made the "kissing gesture" to Star's cheeks, Star was slightly surprised. No one has ever done that to her before, or dared to come so close to her unless they shared a blood-bond together , For another predator to do so was very strange for her. And if she had the blush active she probably would have flinched. She did not, and return the gesture with a warm smile and a respectful nod.
Star smiled and turned her attention fully towards Lady Valery.Greetings Miss Rebecca, I've heard so much about you."

Star said respectfully, knowing full well that they probably didn't hear anything good about her, hence the reason she was trying to show that she's not just a thug'ish uncouth Sabbat Rogue, but someone who actually has potential.

After they went and while Rebecca was having a nice chat with Lady Ferguson Brian spoke gently to Valentine.
"I deeply appreciate your words Lord Valentine. Clan Gangrel struggles each night to bring peace and protect our land against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Your acknowledgement will be worded to my Sire Primogen Astor with your sincere appreciation."
Brian sat and looked at Valery and Rebecca and said.
"I think my Childe and I will enjoy very much your skill display Lord Valentine. She is a cappable warrior, I'm sure she'll appreciate very much as I'll your martial performance."
"I've heard you're an adoptive Childe to Sir Hell Song." she winked.
"Not all blue blood share our enthusiasm to lead the Camarilla in times of war. Sadly some take peace for granted and leave such matter in the Gangrel or Brujah agenda, instead of ruling as warlords."
"AYIME!"
The combat started.
For ten minutes the two combatants shared hits and dance around each other with grace and martial skill. The demonstration was flawless and eventually one of two managed to strike the other behind the knee and then hit a kick, following with a sword knock to the head. The first three hits in a row victored by all with three dry knuckle hit to the tatami from all his remaining team to the right.
Valentine clapped twice and the combat was finished.

Valentine stood up and all his disciples bowed. Then he said something in japanese and two of them, one from each side came to the front and bowed again to their master and then to each other. Another order in japanese made them adopt a combat stance with the wooden swords and helmets and finally a short yell from Valentine."AYIME!"

Star watched and seemed to enjoy the display of combat very much. Star was quite impressed to see a side of the Ventrue and found herself enjoying present company. She glanced over at her father every now and again to see if he was enjoying himself as well.
She then finally addresses Lord Valentine when she thought it was appropriate to do so.

Brian was quiet during the exhibition, observing every move, very attentive, trying to predict the next move and picturing in his mind what he would do. His hands clutched and tensed when he felt the need to react. He was enjoyning the martial display very much.
When it was over he said confidentially to Valentine.
"I didn't know Ventrue were so skilled warriors Lord Valentine if I may. Why you don't partake in the defense of our territory? We are always in the need of great warriors such as you and your discipules."
Valentine smiled.
"Do you have the honor to our Seneschal William Randolph? He is an intimate acquaintance of our Primogen my Lord Benjamin Hart. Both are very illustrated kindred in the art of politics and they have decided that our place is here guarding only the clan assets and keep our swords sheathed.
However, we Clan Ventrue by order of our Prince Michael Bright, are to serve Clan Gangrel and fulfill any mission thou Primogen Jacob Astor deems fit for us."
Brian stood still thinking about this whole scheme.

He went down to the tatami and Brian followed. Meanwhile, all kendo practicioners removed their helmets unveiling their identities, one third were women to a total of six and the remaining thirteen were men. All Kindreds, the best warriors in Clan Ventrue.
Valentine said
"Uchi-deshi. Kiritsu!"
The all stood firmly like a military stance. Then he continued.
"Sir Brian Hell Song will speak briefly to you, pay attention to this honourable warrior. His wisdom has been proven a thousand time is the fields of battle and know he is willing to share it with you all."
Chorus. "YES SENSEI!"
After Valentine's cue Brian stood in front and said.
"Kindreds of the Camarilla you are worthy vessels of thy Ventrue Blood. Your martial skills are impressive as are your discipline and loyalty to your master Lord Valentine.
We're now in War, The Camarilla is struggling in and out of New York City to keep it thriving but great perils await at night to undermine our legacy of prosperity and order to the human kind. You may remain passive in the face of such perils or you can accept this challenge and come forth to defend our Land.
Our land needs you. I'll do my best to Call you upon Arms and go to war with us, the Gangrels. There you will forge your discipline and technique in the fray of battle. When the drums of war resound each will make a choice, which will depend on the quenching of your soul.
Will it be brittle? or will it grow stronger? Time will tell."
In the eyes of each Ventrue a fiery gaze showed as this kindred of the Clan of Beasts was there telling them they had protect them while they were hidding in their little club. The humiliation was not his to bare upon them but from the Primogen Hart itself. The time will tell indeed... how ventrue are better warlords than any Gangrel could be.
Valery said. "Quoting Carl von Clausewitz 'War is the continuation of politics by other means' certainly the Sabbat is an example our politics by violence, wouldn't you say? Being rules by the Tyrant Tzimisce and devious La Sombra they don't know better. Nevertheless, war is a tool in politics and there are many types of war."so not all Ventrue are politicians?

Star replied speaking truthfully about what she believed the Sword's main issue was.

Star remained quite after that.
Start took the flattery though she did not believe it was well deserved. She believed she had never truly showed her father that she could shine, and was only a disappointment in his eyes. Perhaps she was being too hard on herself due to her low self-esteem, though She picked up on mixed feeling her father gave her from time to time, like back in the changing room. She knew he loved her, but she was not the "type" of kindred he would be proud to call his Childr. Of course her father would never bring these things to light in front of present company, it would make them think he was soft. Still it didn't make Star feel any better.We are glad you've enjoyed our martial display. Specially from such a cappable warrior to be recommended by the Hell Song himself."
Star simply smiled and nodded to Lady Valery respectively taking the complement and not betray her true thoughts on the matter.

Star sat silently and watched her father talk to the Ventrue. She was completely in awe learning that they were such skilled Warriors among the clan and I truly wonder why they were being kept from their full potential.
Star turned to Lady Valery and asked...

Star said and waited to be acknowledged again before she spoke.
Why would Primogen Lord Benjamin Hart... decree that the Ventrue not utilize their full potential, and favor the pen more then the sword when the clan is capable of both?... Would it not make the Clan stronger if both aspects were utilized?
Star paused realizing her question may not have come off as polite or well phrased as she wanted it to, and she struggled to find the right words.

Brian finished his speach and it caused the desired effect to some extent. The Ventrue were very motivated, highly moralized to go and fight but their loyalty and obedience to their Primogen wasn't something they could just overlook. Even more their participation in this war would be thanks to this Beast Vampire instead of their own Elders comming together for the Clan's sake.
Valentine had definetely understimated the wisdom of the Gangrel. Trying to honour him, use him even to encourage his students to be ready for action he could read the word 'revolution' written in their faces. He wonder if this Hell Song wasn't a Brujah in disguise. He refused to let the Gangrel words to sank in his heart like a knife but it was already too late, he regreated to become a by stander in this conflict, to have lost his competition against Randolph and to be in this position depending on Beasts to his job for him.
He looked at Valery pretending to be oblivious of Brian's words also making an effort to calm her heart and let it flow with normality. Then to his students most of them very young, still with the remaining passion of their mortal life running in their veins. <Have times changed enough for Kings to ally with Beasts in equal terms?> he wondered.
"Thank you Sir Hell Song for those words. I'm sure my students will tresure them like gold in their hearts."
Brian nodded and said privately to Valentine
"Per haps we could attend more urgen issues Lord Valentine?"
He smiled and said.
"Of course, the Ghouls. Valery my dear, please show our guest they way to the thralls whereabouts and then tell Alfred to show them to their quarters. You're welcome to stay my friends. I insist."
Brian bowed and left with Valery and Rebecca. While Valentine stayed back to do damage control.

She asked curiously. In her experience with the Gangrel, Victory was one of the most important things. To hear that there was something that mattered more then Victory for the Clan was truly fascinating for her.
It was clear to see that Star was curious about all this and had many question. Her eyes had been open to something that she had never known and a large part of her wanted to learn as much as she could. Even though she tried to hide her eagerness for knowledge of their culture.
After all was said and done, Star turned her Attention to Lord Valentine as he spoke

"Some kings have been ask to pay someone's weight in gold. We Ventrue measure a kindred's value by its Dignitas. Each action can earn you some or deprive you of it. At the end of the day every kindred's weight is measure."
They were walking back to the main building where they were received. Lady Valery was leading the way and as they started to come close every buttler bowed before her and continued without talking. When they met Alfred he noticied they were looking for him and came ready to receive any order. Valery asked.
"Alfred are our guests accomodations ready?"
Alfred.
"Yes Lady Pherguson, they're ready for your inspection. I can lead you to the VIP guest house and to take note of your comments my Lady."
Valery nodded and said. "It's Alfred. Please take our guests to the recently arrived location, while I go to inspect the location, I'll take Harold with me."
Alfred bowed and told the guests. "Please most honourable guests. Allow me to show you the way."
Brian bowed to take Valery's hand and again exchanged a sexy look with her before saying.
"My Lady it's been an honour. I look forward to meet you again."
Valery smiled surprised of his audacity and that lighted a new interest in her. He left her speachless.
Then he started to walk without further ado.
