The creature continued running lowering its weight to pass under Leila's attack unaware that she was missing intentionally, impacting her on her belly. The push was strong she flew through the air and hit against the wall right behind her with a loud bang, then went directly to the floor.

Tantra ran after the creature, she was fast but not as fast as the Beast right before her, by the time Leila stood up from the ground she was alone in the room, hearing crystal cracking and tumbles in the living room outside of the hall.

Leila swore under her breath, she could've ended this and she let her emotions rule her. Instead she'd gotten herself thrown to the ground hard enough to hurt. She got up as quickly as she could manage, ran out of the room into the gathering room hoping to jump right back into the fray and disable the crazed beast.

The impact might had been enough to crack a bone for any human, still for a vampire this damage represented almost nothing, except for the vitae she will be needing to recover from her mistake.

Leila ran to the living room at the end of the alley, there Tantra had the Beast graps by one of it's legs while it was trying to bite her, smash her with his fists and kick her with the other foot. The scene was literally insane, the creature moving so fast and still unable to move away from Tantra's powerful grip. Tantra on the other hand was moving and dodging in a mesmerizing dance, while the creature was trying to hit her, each movement of her played against the next Beast's attack. It was impressive to see her move as she already knew everyone of the creature's attacks even before it could try it's luck with her.

The room had some evidence of struggle, some carpets ripped out and many ornaments smashed to the ground.

Leila quickly took in the scene before her. She didn't doubt her sire's ability to get away from this crazed creature but she had to help her. Quickly her eyes darted around the room searching for anything, the leg of the table or a piece of floor board looking for some wood she could use to stake the creature.

With a fast look Leila spotted several bashing objects: a chair leg torn appart and a steel tube formely used to hold one of the carpets in place. The first was short easy to carry one handed while the other was long enough for a spear.

Leila dashed for the chair leg and scooped it up into her hands. She ran towards the confrontation with it ready to lunge it into the mans heart from whichever part of his body presented itself and while being careful not to attack her sire. He was a flash of movement though, limbs everything, thrashing and percolating. This was going to be a difficult blow and she knew it, but she had to try.

Leila ran, charging against the grappled vampire, she went by the side aiming directly to the heart in a desperate move to quell the Beast. The chair leg was sharp, still her logic made seem impossible to pierce through a skin so hard, so thick as vampire's skin. Leila had seen bullets ricochet from her own body, how much strenght is needed to pierce steel like skin with a piece of wood? this was impossible.

With all her strenght she stabbed the vampire's chest and something miraculous happend, the sharp wood started to cut through the vampire just like a steel spear would, nevertheless the angle was not correct making the point to bounce from the ribs, leaving a deep wound over the chest.

Leila's eyes grew wide as she actually pierced his flesh, hoping beyond hope that her strength would push the wood through skin and muscle and bone and pierce his heart just as her sire had done a few moments ago.

Yes, YES! She was moments away from incapacitating him without killing him, but the impromptu stake retracted as if bouncing off steel, his ribs forming a protective barrier around his heart. It instead forced the weapon back into her hand as the penetration ceased and she withdrew it reflexively, nothing but opened flesh before her.

She wasn't strong enough yet and there was no way her injury to him was going to go ignored. She backed up a step but readied herself to charge at him again with the stake should his assault be brought back to rage against her.

Leila would try to disable his mouth by breaking his jaw with her tongue.

The Beast attempts a simple dodge by moving his head and body out of the tongue attack, and then chew Leila's face.

Right after dodging the creature pushed himself from Tantra trying to reach Leila's face a nail his teeth on her.

Tantra anticipating the creature's attack twists one of his arms forcing it to the ground with one big slam.

The creatures makes a fast tumble to land on his feet by using the same twist as an impulse to roll over.

Leila couldn't keep track of all that was happening it was far too fast, one second the crazed beast was about to bite her head off and the next he was on the ground rolling. She poised her wooden spear and moved over to him attempting again to slam the wood into his heart.

By the time Leila was hitting with the wooden spear the beast was already up in the air jumping against Tantra trying to bite her face now. Leila felt the impact in her hands realizing that she had just hitted the wooden floor with a deaf sound.

Leila rouse again the spear, it had not broken yet and before her eyes in those few seconds that she took to prepare a new attack at least three punches were thrown against Tantra.

Leila keeps the wooden leg in her hand but realized she and it were too slow to counter him. She lashed out her tongue at him, aiming to hit him somewhere on his body, perhaps even dislodge his arm from its shoulder.
