Risky Bussiness (Leila)

Leila had seen the power of Tantra, a Disciplined warrior and as such a creature with tremendous powers to engage into combat without fear of receiving damage, the guy in front of her seem exactly like her, a man so powerful that bullets actually bounce on his face!! and he was comming after her, to complicate things the bullets were buzzing over her head stading to shoot would mean suicide!

There was just no way out...!!!

Leila started to feel her own beast cowared inside increasing her feeling of fear and her desire to run away, in her entirely life even during her childhood nothing could prepared her to this kind of Fear.

Leila felt the hopelessness of her situation dawn on her. She couldn't stand lest she die, she couldn't shoot the bullets bounced off the man and he was coming closer to her! In all her years she'd never felt more terrified.

In a flash her eyes whipped blue, the eyes of the serpent staring at the men firing at her. Her world turned red and she could see each bright burst from his gun and the little black specks of bullets flying towards her far clearer. Helping to ease her anxieties. She lowered to the ground and backed up hopefully dodging any bullets firing towards her. She tucked the pistol quickly away in her back pocket and switched to her machete, readying herself for his approach.

The man arrived.

He was helding a long M-16 in his hands, right before Leila could approach or react against him or dodge him he spread fire on her a full burst of bullets. One bullet and then the other impacting against Sorayya's chest....

* BOOM * * BOOM * * BOOM * * BOOM * * BOOM * * BOOM *

An empty clip on the gun and a new decoration to Leila's chest, her vest was torned to ribbons absolutely destroyed by the burst. Her chest was also damaged but...

She was still feeling ok, in pain, hurt and knocked down by the burst but not close for this fight to be over. Now her beast was furious feel with a lust for blood.

Leila fell back, her vest sprayed to bits, leaving her exposed to his attack. She only took one look at her chest and felt fury running through her. She looked the man dead in the eye from her cowed position, she bared her fangs and jumped up in front of him, keeping her eyes locked on his. She quickly swung her machete up at an angle and brought it down across the mans neck.

Spoiler:

Leila's jump took the man by surprise, his gun was long but instead of what Leila could have expect compared to what happend on Tantra's side, the man dextrously used the gun as a parrying object against Leila's attack. The man intercepted Leila's machete in her descending slash, its sharp edge nailed on the plastic end of the gun.

Her arm swings down and around rapidly at an attempt cut off his dominant hand.

Spoiler:

Leila swings her machete against the man's arm and he easily dodges her attack.

She grunted, not being able to land any attacks with her weapon, her beast rumbled with anger inside of her and her tongue lashed out of her mouth onto any exposed skin on his neck.

The defender uses his m-16 to block Leila's tongue attack, his movements were subtle and smooth...

The man deviates the tongue and charges to use the back of the rifle as a hammer against Leila's head. The second lash miss on his movement and when he is almost upon Leila her tongue graps his vest.

The point tongue hits hard against the vest but unable to pierce through it, in his charge the man yells and swings his rifle against Leila's head while the other men in the woods at the other side of the limousine starts to approach due to the lack of resistance.

The charge impacts directly on Leila's head like a truck, that same attack would crack a mortal's head like a nut and it was hard enough to knock Sorayya back into the ground once more, this time with an overwhelming concussion, she was stuned and dizzy, she could not even see with clarity.

Now on the ground she saw the man standing in front of her to reload his rifle with impressive speed, and before Leila could react to this the man was already aiming to her chest and shooting a full burst against her knocked body.

* TA TA TA TA TA TA TA TA TA * One after another each bullet pierced through her body, some of them even to the other side nailing deep into the ground under her, not even her beast could resist the brutality of this attack against her.

Unable to move and laying on her back, she could still see the man, she was not destroyed, actually she was very aware of everything around except that she could not even blink or move her eyes. From that position she saw what seemed at the begining as an illusion, a big cedar burning into flames spinning like an helicopter wing and hitting the man right in the middle of his chest.

Leila's body flew back into the ground with the force of the blow to her head. Pain shot through her head and down to her spine like she'd been dealt a massive concussion. She couldn't feel anything other than pain. Surely she thought the moment had come, her final death. Her eyes couldn't move, hell her whole body was immobile and all she could think was that this was the end for her. Sure enough, the vampire toward over her and spat even more lead into her chest than would destroy a herculean man, each bullet pierced through her and she knew she would never wake again.

Mind games, her eyes remained open and she could still see. At least she thought she could, what she saw was clearly an illusion. What seemed to her like a helicopter blade whipped through the air and hit him in the chest. It was only then that she realized she was still conscious and apart of this world. She promised her sire she would fight by her side and at the very least she could still see. The thought flew into her mind she had to heal these wounds, that's all they were, just wounds. 'Concentrate Leila, concentrate, envision your body whole.' She thought to herself feeling the bullet wounds and the rounds left in her vaporize and the bones in her head and face repairing itself.

When Leila recovered some of her movement she saw from the ground how the two cedars that were obstaculasing the pass before were now spining and dancing in the air attacking all her enemies like a miracle or magic of some kind, her beast feared from the fire they had but she was still thankful that her opponent was now being attack by somebody else.

Tantra came running from the woods covered in blood and shooting with her now visible sub-machinegun picked up Leila from the ground easily and entered into the limousine. There was Samuel playing with two improvised wax figures of a tree, he was moving them around like a child playing with his toys.
"What took you so long?" Tantra said.

The scene unfolded for Leila like a psychedelic horror movie. The spinning, flaming trees jutting branches and tossing enemies. She watched men felled and burn around her and tried to make out her way back to the limo. Instead she was swooped up by her sire, never having been more grateful to see her then she had then. She slumped into the sight, bleary eyed and utterly disheveled. She couldn't bother with speaking, merely watched on to Samuel's ministrations and trying to heal herself.

The car started to move immediatly leaving the combat behind, the girls were scared covered in the floor, several impacts manage to pierce through the thick shield and cause damage inside of the vehicle, still they manage to continue.

The phone rang...

Tantra picked up and had a chat with Stain, words that Leila could not hear in her condition still Tantra's tone seemed soothing instead of militaristic, that surely meant that the worst part was over.

Leila's initial efforts were just a waste making her feel thirsty without actually being able to heal herself, still a few seconds later when the worst was over and when she felt more calmed she managed to slowly heal her wounds to make her body operational once more.

"You did Ok Childe, you just need training, that's all" Tantra said.
