Weapons and supplies (Star)

The Count started speaking to the rest of the coterie illuminated by the crumling roof lights and the balefire still lingering as it melted the the stones from the floor. The situation was indeed serious, Valentine was with the rest of his warghouls at the other side of the Chess Club, probably under attack judging by the gun fire.

The first step by the Count's request was to ask Brian to look on the other side looking for their enemies, as they knew little of this spiritual magic, any information was key to preparing for the next round. The Gangrel accepted and started to meditate while the Count continued to address the rest.

He informed about an armory not far from here, it was on their way to assist Lord Valentine. The crew was severely injured and it was more likely for find enemies ahead but still the entrance should be taken care of in case of reinforcements. The security system was saboutaged somehow, there were several defense mechanisms and none was active, Gabriel agreed this was related to the Gangrel Gate breach a few nights ago.

Seth could not move, Ruth was partially incappacitated and Brian was in no condition to survive another round with the werewolf. It was agreed by Gabriel and the rest to split, leaving the two rifled equipt ghouls with them in a reinforced position on the information desk. Their first objetive was the armory.

Brian broke the trance and said.
"The other side is full with dark spirits, I don't know what they're or what can they do. Among this mayhem I saw Henry, he is staked in the other side, I don't know what that means either. Is he dead?" he shrugs.

"No sign of the werewolves.

I'll call the Zoo to ask for reinforcements."

Brian looks at his daughter and says.
"Survive. I'll be waiting here for you."

The Count was confused. <Can werewolf pull people to the other side?> this was not a common thing. The situation was new even to an Elder such as him but nevertheless he needed to save his Lord and the honour of the Ventrue's Chess Club.

Gabriel, Allison, Paul, Lawless and Star went with the Count down the corridor. Looking for the armory.

The green balefire on the ground was hot enough to melt the stones, Star knew that and was cautious to respect the Red... well in this case the Green Fear. The remaining flames were as tall as grass just consuming the oxygen refusing to die.

When start felt the heat a sudden burst made the fire jump, it seemed as it was alive somehow, sensing the presence of another burnable corpse for its amusement made the bane fire to attempt to reach out of excitement. Making the Ventrue to jump back inmediately, not without feeling extreme hot projected as an invisible flame almost making her clothes to bursts in fire.


Horrified by the living green chemical-radioactive fire the Ventrue was quickly assisted by the rest of the group to check out if she was OK. This was surprising to everyone, the fire it self was a spiritual manifiestation of sorts.

Star checked out her clothes, her face. she wasn't damaged but certain she was scared, her Beast felt the rush to run away pushing Star to get the fuck out, this whole situation was extreme in every sense of the word.

Paul and Allison were the first to assist her, helping her to stand up after the burst, asking her if she was ok. Brian couldn't even move fast enough to get at her but he seemed very worried at this point.

As Brian meditated, Star turned to the bodies of the mutated-mangled Fomori humans.  Immediately checking each one to see if it was indeed dead or just knocked out, healing or faking. She did this by spanning them in the eye socket with "LJ". Better to be safe than sorry.

Star goes one by one still shaking off the fear from the balefire attack. LJ enriches its blade with the blood of the fomori, finishing off each one of three.

The corridor down the central building was long, the whole structure was deprived from electricity in most parts, still outside the warghouls of the Ventrue struggled with the assaulting fomori forces.

At far a AWV was defending the Chess Club. Shooting with a .50 Calibre against the fomori forces keeping them behind the tree line at far. Suddenly Enigma appeared from thin air over the vehicle, falling over the turret which hatch was fortunally closed and the lupine had to settled to strike and twist the metal of the barrels and part of the vehicle's armor.

The violence was so brutal that the sound several yards away was deafning.

The vehicle started to turn around in a rapid fashion trying to knock the werewolf out and before it hit the ground again vanished in thin air. Leaving nothing, not even a trace of smoke behind.

From the roof of the chess club another loud conmotion was taking place, screams and shooting all over the place as they went running down the hallway. Suddenly an RPG crossed the hallway in front of the group exploding against the wall at the other side, causing a bath or crystals over the crew.

The Ventrue were starting to cluster together, even for Star who was a shovel head back in the day, this level of agression was not normal.

Running in the opposite direction a group of four ghouls, one butter with several ranged and melee weapons along with three war ghouls, all security guards. They stopped giving an watchword, informing it was told by the Chess Master to identify each other CASTLING. Lord Valentine reinforced his position on the roof of his office, remaining forces are creating security circles around the KING as we speak.

That particular crew was meant to create an stronghold on the top of this corridor but after the Count told them of the kindred's at the entrance they choosed to send one warghoul to fetch them to that position. Information about the armory it is still available.

The doors of the armory were intact so far, it had one war ghoul behind an improvised barrier made out of old armors and shields, armed with a .50 machine gun.

The hostile forces haven't penetrated the structure yet. Judging by the position of the defenses the main attack was aimed to the back of the Chess Club, assuming they would find little or not resistance at the main entrance. However, the arrival of the Ventrue Coterie and the Gangrel presence was enough to resist and repel the intrussion.

Now that the Coterie regrouped at the back of the Chess Club the interior of the structure was secured for the most part with no small amount of damage and casualties. The Count said SHORT and the ghoul prepared to destroy the Coterie replied CASTLING, allowing the group to approach.

The group passed by a very moralized ghoul looking up to his Elder fighting even without an arm. The armory internal illumination was deficient, all the explosions had caused severe damage to the infraestructure. However, there were three basement level full of different kinds of weapons, from granade launchers to swords and knives. No chainsaws on sight, probably for the next big purchase on Rebecca's advice.

The Count said.
"TAKE WHATEVER YOU NEED!"

The kindred spread out looking for kevlar armors, helmets, rifles and so on. Preparing for the fights to come.

Gabriel picks a .50 machine gun the old and trustful M2, usually carried by two people and a tripod but he seems quite comfortable picking it in one hand. Kevlar vest and several hand grenades.

The Count takes a new saber, his last one was grinded in the battle. Reaches for a kevlar vest as well.

Lawless did recover his Desert Eagle and fill his pockets with ammo, also takes an M16 with G/L and a combat knife attached to his leg. Along with four grenades: two fragmentary. Kevlar vest can't be missed.

Allison Hu takes a Katana to pair with her Wakizashi with a lot of grenades in a strap around her chest.

Paul takes an MP5 with piercing rounds, grenade launcher included, hand grenades and a 12 Cal Shotgun with elephant killing rounds and another short two barrel shotgun with standar ammo. He didn't forget to take the Kevlar with him.

The Count orders Lawless to take a plastic riot control shield and to everyone to take a tactical helmet with flashlight and comm system. He orders to Star to take two smoke grenades.

They are ready to rumble...

The group was ready to start their short travel to the Chess Master's office. The circular hallway from the armory to Lord Valentine was less than a fifty yards away. The inner garden had two smoking bodies in it's center, both fomorian other than that the struggles seemed to be only outside the structure.

The Count order to Lawless and Star to be in front of the coterie as the first line of defense with Paul at the other end, in the rear with him. Leaving Gabriel and Allison in the center in the center.


The idea of going across the central garden was considered but discarded inmediately due to the exposition and lack of possible refuge in case of attack. Then the Count commanded to start walking to the left around such garden and into the Chess Master premise.

Suddenly a huge explosion blew the left wall literally destroying the exterior wall into one of the fighting dojos, casually the one where Star fought against the Count in preparation for her duel.

All groups if the different check points prepared to open fire when suddenly one of the AWV came in, its hatch was shreded and it started to shoot inmeditely to the teams at the other side of the garden with its machinegun, forcing them to hide behind the improvised trench.

Behind the tank two groups of two SWAT like soldiers wearing full vests and helmet, equipt with heavy assault rifles  started to shoot the near by check points. The ghouls returned the fire but the cover and the heavy armor made difficult even to cause any damage.

The Count ordered Star to smoke the bastards while the rush to reach the check point in a low position.
