Raining Night (Leila) Empty Raining Night (Leila)

Standing in front of the Serpent's Lair staring at the bright lights from the building, Sorayya rouse inside of Leila's soul wrapping her resolve with memories and remorse. She looked at the path behind her in regret and told Leila how wrong she was, how could her allow the Followers to decive her in such a way that she would give up everything she had dream on, and now the very same Followers of Seth had turned her back on her because of a mistunderstanding, first Pillar and after Tantra, forsaking her from their Domain, leaving her alone in this dark night.

She reminded her of her lost life, the open wound of her unborned childrens started to bleed again and painful thoughts started to roam inside of her.

A sudden flash followed by a loud thunder broke the silence allowing the rain to fall down heavy...

Raining Night (Leila) Empty Re: Raining Night (Leila)

Leila had given up life, and all that it entailed. For what reason? So that she could be left alone, destitute, nearly homeless, never to appreciate her breaths or enjoy simple carnal pleasures. She would never even bear children into this vicious world, a dream that she never had but was still painfully snatched away, never to be realized. She shuddered at the thundering boom as rain began to pour down on her. Instinctively she wished to seek shelter, part of her thought this abandonment was deserved.

She felt the emotional pain start to wreck her as the water fell. Sorayya was tormenting her body with accusations and cursing. Leila looked at the Serpents Lair and all of her experiences in this city began to rush her. She was made into what she was because she had the potential to be strong. Not some sullied and emotional human. Leila needed to fight this maddening spirit within her, wanting only to suppress the weak human emotions and thrive like she was meant to.

She knew she needed to make amends with her sire and Pillar if she was going to excel in her new life and be strong enough to fight her father she needed the Followers. Perhaps if she could appeal to her grandsire. He could help her with getting into Tantra and Pillar's good graces surely. She looked around her, hoping to find a cab but the sight around her was strange.

Raining Night (Leila) Empty Re: Raining Night (Leila)

The rain continue to fall, icy and heavy over her. A yellow taxi cab stopped on its tracks allowing her to get inside, the back of the vehicule had an unrealistic smell, a rotten mix of sperm and sweat, it was mild hidden behind the artificial smell of the air refresher but it wasn't good enough.

Leila now in full control of her own self again noticed several unsettling aspects of the car, to begin with it had the driver's sit reinforced with steel bars, as well there was a steel net separating the backsit from the drivers cabin. Other than that it seemed like an average new yorker yellow cab, with the driver's license and ID hanging from the mirror, a guy name Ahmed Ibin Adsal.

Surprisingly the driver was black, the blackest man Leila or Sorayya had ever seen, his skin was like burnt engine oil, and his eyes almost yellow with nails white as snow, long with its tips painted in black, just the very tip.
"Where to miss...?" the driver asked to Leila.

Leila looked around the cab noting the unsettling vibe she reached for the handle of the door.

"I forgot something inside, thanks for stopping, I'll get the next one."

She mused as she escaped the strange cab. She started walking up the street back in the pouring rain. She checked her belongings over, making sure she had her phone and her wallet.

Leila opened the door right away, she felt however the secure activated after the door was already opened, surely if it wasn't for her rapid response she'd have been trapped inside the taxi cab by now. She got out of the cab fast enough and closed the door behind her under the staring look of the taxi driver.

The cab stayed in place, didn't move an inch...

Leila's movements were smooth and divine, she started to walk away trying to avoid unwanted attention. The taxi cab start to move backwards in pursuit of Leila, she moved fast and seeing the car approaching looked at an alley, narrow with several objects that would prevent the car from entering or at least delaying it enough for her to run away and escape.

The alley itself was almost ideal for any escape manuever, from fire stairs that could be reached and pulled down, to wood doors to enter in both building, as well as huge trash trays and other obstacles in the way for anything bigger than a person. It was dark and alone, not a single begger or alley cat in it.

In her attempt to escape the cab, she realized it was following her backwards. She frowned and furrowed at the site. She slipped down the empty alley and tested each of the wooden doors, hoping that one of them would give.

For a second Leila thought about how strange all this was, being pursuited by the most strange taxi driver in NYC who was very persistant also. Was it possible that all this was part of someones plan? could it be deliberated? was it vampire? or something else?

The door bended and opened due to a misfunction in the lock, allowing Leila to get inside of the building, there was darker inside allowing Leila to see a very dimmed glow comming from her chest. Chester's Medallion was glowing slightly. What could this mean?

Once inside she closed the door and her thoughts began bombarding her every second. She was anxious to know what was going on. Was this real? Who was this guy following her? The glow illuminating from her neck finally caught her attention. It was the chain Chester gave her. She swallowed unnecessarily, as she recounted the medallions purpose. She stood at the door for a few seconds recalling finally that the chain was meant to warn her about the presence of demons. Was that cab driver a demon or was there someone inside the building? She looked around in the darkness, calling on the gifts of her kind her eyes she assessed the area around her with her glowing eyes looking for hallways, any other doors and a way to bar this door she was leaning against.

As she stood there in the dark she heard the taxi cab driving away, as the light from the medallion diminished. After a few seconds there was only darkness and silence only broke by the eventual noises of the city.

Leila opened the door back to the city once it was obvious that the demon cab driver was gone. Back out on the rainy streets of New York. Leila made her way to the nearest subway entrance. She moved swiftly under the cover of the rain. Once inside the underground transportation system she tried to figure out the routes and such to get herself to Elie's haven.
