Mokole Streams of New York

The majority of the Mokole mbembe in the US live at the South: Florida, Louisiana among other States but here in New York City they made an exception, since a few of their kind Clutch under the city in the sewer system, where many alligators and other reptilian races mistaken as them have been spotted.

Sadly they've given their race a bad rep, mistaken as brutal hunter that blood thirsty roam in the deep looking for fresh blood. The Mbembe, are warriors indeed but in no extent they're mindless hunters but they've fiercely defended their ground for centuries, even when the Lenape abandoned them, even when the Garou came to hurt them, they still held their ground and that has became their reason to live there, their only reason.

The Mbembe are not completely isolated nevertheless, their Clutches connect with the outside world through the Kin that negotiates with the rest of the society of the Underground City, even the supernaturals. The oldest among the Mokole kin are respected citizens and often heard even in the domain of other supernaturals for the immense wisdom the Mokole have granted them and also due to the fear of a Mokole raid if any of them would result hurt in a misunderstanding.

The Zhong Long are an small Stream but quite notorious given the age of their Elders. The most ancient Mokole on the North of the US are in NYC China Town where the Resplendent Golden Dragons, the Twin Stars live under. These two have over two hundred years old and rumors about their immortality have spread over decades, making them the most respected members of their kind in the Continent.

The Akashic Brotherhood protects them as a source of wisdom directly connected to the Akashic Record and even come frequently for advice in exchange for magical protections and alliance. Even more many among the Zhong Lung Kin have awaken and joined the Akashic ranks over the last century and some of them are now in influential positions inside the Tradition, specially inside New York from where they've favor the alliance with those of their Kin, aside of the Twin the Four Ministers: Jade of the East, Onyx of the North, Ruby of the South and the Diamond of the East, all around the Golden Dragons of the Center.

Over the years the Ministers of the Stream, each of the Clutches Heads, have been killed in the wars the Mokole have struggle in over the years. Each of the Wars have toll a great cost on the Mokole, specially in the last century as the inner struggles seemed only to increase as time moves forward.
