Tyrant of New York

After the sixth Maelstrom, the fiercest and more powerful in Ages, a new broom of vengeful spirits came to the skinlands: the call themselves The Fallen. The first cities to be aware of their presence were at the west coast, specifically in LA but as the Maelstrom went across the United States to the East it finally reached NYC.

One by one, this tormented spirits started to posses the lifeless bodies of many newyorkers, from high profile VIP from the financial world to disgraced policemen so corrupted and vile that turned out to be a beacon in the shadowlands for these creatures to take over their carcasses.

Among the Fallen many claimed corpses and traveled East before the Maelstrom arrived, preparing the terrain to summon great terrors upon the sons and daughters of Adam and Eve. One of them was Sauriel The Releaser...

This abomination has divine powers over life and death, his philosophy basics is to kill, then go to the shadowlands look for the poor bastard soul and then sink it in the deepest part of Hell in a pedagogical effort to teach Humans the suffering he had to endure in the name of Lucifer's love towards humanity.

During his time in Hell Sauriel learned a few things, one was the True Name of a Duke of inmense power that was wrapped in silver sharp chains that tighten over eons, just a millimeter for each human that went into perdition by the weight of their sins. New chains would grow each day for each blasphemy and his angelical body was both in constant regeneration and absolute pain.

After his release Sauriel traveled fast to the East Coast, flying through the Shadowlands at supernatural speed until he reached New York City, where he looked for pawns to be used in the Service of Buer, The Prince of Hell a Duke under the command of Belial that commanded the fifty legions of demons to rule over the Forests of Lies during the Age of Atrocities.

In NYC he found The Church of Satan a non governmental organization dedicated to worship demons, or so they thought until Sauriel came to their temple slaving one half and slaying the other, not by his own hand but out of fear and threats of eternal tortures to those not willing to bloodshed in name of Buer. Once the chosen ones were anointed in the name of Buer and given the power of Sauriel to perform a powerful summon spell they went to Chinatown were a Secret Inner Garden was in packed with exotic flowers by one of the locals private collection and hobby to summon there Duke Buer.

Upon the arrival of the sixth Maelstrom to New York the Cult summoned Buer, the psychic storm had weaken her chains enough for the ritual to be effective enough for the monstrosity to emerged from the pits of Hell and embody all fifty cultist at the same time, hoping they'd endure him but they all rotted in place transforming into horrific plants with pseudo human shapes or tortured expressions to decor the Garden where Buer got Earthbound partly empowered but unable to move.

Sauriel received his Prize, power beyond imagination, enough to become the most powerful fallen in NYC, back then and still know he sits on his Throne of Thorns inside Manhattan Shadowlands where he rules over his Entire Domain with an Iron Fist, keeping in secret the Earthbound's favor and his Ravager nature, pretending to be a Faustian just playing chess with human pawns under his control.

Buer a True Faustian is a constant voice that advices Sauriel to drive him into Madness and torturing him with visions of conspiracies and betrayals to overthrown him, focusing his volatile anger as a part of a Master Plan that will eventually give the Duke absolute control over this Domain. Meanwhile, Buer is growing exotic flowers in his new Garden-body, containing a powerful hallucinogen, addictive and poisonous to be another puzzle piece in his master plan.
