[Flashback-STAR] Union Business at the Tower

After having no luck with reaching Theo Bell on the phone, she shoots him a quick text just saying she has some questions that she wants to run past him when he has a free moment.

Though Star is in no rush, she knows the Sheriff is quite a busy man. Star figures that Theo is off cracking skulls together or other such things a Sheriff would do during his night and doesn't need a Little Ventrue pestering him.

Star heads back to the tower, figuring she might check around for the Sheriff, if he is unavailable she will spend her time doing other things related to the Union.


Star doesn't bother to change clothing, though she does get this nagging feeling that she really needs to go shopping at some point. She really only has a few articles of clothing to her name. Though shopping at the over priced mall in the tower leaves her with a sour taste in her mouth. High fashion prices for common attire was just something she had a hard time justifying spending money on.



Star parked her truck in her usual spot and made her way into the tower to check if the Sheriff was around. She will also keep a eye out for David, if she sees him out and about. If she doesnt see ether, she will simply head to the Union office

Star was a bit surprised to see so many people all prepped and ready for action.
She couldn't help but wonder what was going on. This all seemed to star a little more then just the  routine of a average night.

Seeing Haquim himself only confirmed her suspicions that something was indeed up.
Star gave a slight pause as her eyes rested on Feng the frog and wondered what part a strange man like him had in all this. This whole thing had her curiosity peeked, though Star knew better then to long on this.

He rises his hand to salute casually and then says to her.
"Good evening Eiren, what do you need?"

Star was almost caught off guard in her thoughts by Theo's salute. Being that Star was never been saluted to before and it was usually the other way around. The gesture of respect was not lost on the young Ventrue.

" ....um.. I apologize Sheriff Bell if I am interrupting anything. I know you are a busy man, so I do  appreciate your time"
Star said taking on a formal business-like tone more common among her clan, though how Star was dressed didn't display such. Only cementing that no matter what clothing she wore, she was still a BlueBlood.  Even if she looked like a hoodlum.

Star then was quick to her point, not wanting to waste Theo's time.
" I had some questions concerning the Cathayans. I following up on Union business and was wondering if they made good on their promissed meeting with Our Prince. And if they have been granted haven or whatnot in his domain. You could say I'm looking into if they are "behaving" or trying to slide under the radar with their business ventures... So to speak

Eiren you are welcome to stay and see for yourself. Right now I am really busy

Star gave Theo a nod, stepping aside to let the man work. Star figured this was one of those times that observing in silence was paramount.

As the Vehicles approached, Star stood silently, observing. She didn't make any sudden movements that would draw any attention to herself. She wanted to see what this was all about, but didn't want to draw the eye of anyone's focus.

She took note of the woman's protective demeanor and extravagant look. Though Star did her best not to gawk, for it was rude.

Star also took mental note of the strange attire and wondered if such outfits were customary? Or if they were just trying to V³яu5 a bit intimidating. Ether or Star puzzled over them for they looked out of place for this day and age. Though from Star's point of view out fits and clothing do tend to speak volumes about the person that wears them. Then she looked down at herself dressed like a common street thug and rolled her eyes at herself.
"Yeah thats one law of decorum I dont carry well hee-hee"
She thought to herself with a bit of humor. But it suited Star not to stand out She thought before returning her attention silently back to the Asians and those around them.

Star silently cursed at herself as she had to make a quick U-turn back upstairs as the group continued on to their meeting. Star hushed to her chambers to make a Fast Change of attire. Though some of the Ventrue laws of Decorum were not as heavily enforced in her mind as normal members of her clan . There was still no way in all of hell that she was going to show up at such a prominent meeting, especially in front of possibly her clanmates and her Prince dressed the way that she was.
She cursed at herself for not being more prepared and made a note to herself to try to always show up at least somewhat property dressed when she entered the tower, even if she had to get changed in her truck. Also this whole clothing Fiasco brought to mind that she only had a few outfits to her name that weren't totally destroyed. She  really needed to take time and go shopping.

Star made a polite hello to Richard in a friendly way upon seeing him, as well as his fellow clan mates as she moved to get a better view from the balcony. Star was trying to be on her best behavior and come off with the professionality one would expect from one of her clan. There were so many new faces around she didn't recognize, and she wonders what clan some of them hailed from. Star also did her best to keep her ears open for some gossip, you never know what interesting tid-bits might be dropped


Star stood silently on the balcony watching those below. She was caught off guard by the beautiful woman upon realizing she was actually trans.
Star gave her a warm smile, treating her with respect. Star softly took  Nancy's hand and kissing it tenderly.

Star said adding a truthful complement to her politeness.

Star eyed the woman in a very pleasent  way, if still human Star probably would be very attractive to her. But Star tried not to show that too much, yet me mind already went there.
Thoughts of taking this woman in the sheets and playing with her "hidden" manhood entered the young Ventrue's mind and she was greatful she did not have the "Bluish" active, or her cheeks might be a rose color.

Forgive me for interrupting your night but I didn't want to skip the opportunity to meeting. I have heard so many things... That I'd not forgIve my Selff.

Star said hoping that what ever gossip was going around wasn't "that bad". Though Star knew she wasn't " the  typical blue blood"... This was both a good thing and bad. But Star had no fear of not fitting into the Ventrue "mold". Though there was something ''deep" inside her that fought her to conform, to which she continued to fight against.

Star looked over the woman and something in her felt she was NOT a clan mate, but her allure left Star still captivated.

"I have never seen you in any of the other Elysiums of the City and a little bird told me you're looking forward to establish new connections. My piece of advice comes wrapped in a beautiful invitation, there's a party in the MET in a few days, be there."

Star seemed surprised to hear about "other" Elysiums.

Indeed the Prince was entering the main hall, next to him were Geronte Melissa Walker and Alastor Melany Krauss. The Prince was wearing a tuxedo with a black cape with golden embroidments and the two ladies were wearing a gala dress: Melissa ebony skin shinned with pearl like luster against the yellow light, making a beautiful contrast with the pink satin dress and the diamond jewelry. While Krauss pale visage seemed to be highlighted like the softest snow by the dark green velvet dress and gold jewelry.

The guest stood up to greet their host with a bow respectfully answered by the Prince and his peers.

Bright said.
"I am Michael Augustus Bright, ruler of the Princedom of New York and It is our pleasure to offer our Hospitality to these honorable guests, by the old Traditions of Clan Ventrue you're most welcome and we invite you to make this place your Sactuarium for as long as you desire.

Star thought silently, as there was no way in hell she was going to willingly be in a area where the lunatics gather in mass. Though Star did not truly dislike the malkavians, those she met while in the sabbat were enough to make her want to stay far away from them. She could still hear Little John's warning that "their brand of crazy was  contagious". And that was enough to give Star a healthy cautious mind to avoid them.

Star wasn't they type of person to be big on Art or Culture, she would rather go to a "Gun Show" then spend a evening browsing a dusty old Museum or art gallery, but she was sure that such a place had its own charm.

Star wasn't sure what to expect, though she thought a change of pace might be nice to experience. After all if the  rumors were true, The Toreadors knew how to throw a great party.

Star stood silently watching over all that transpired down below. She knew much of what Prince Bright said was a formality in efforts to try to "keep the peace" so-to-speak, but something in Star dogged at her and made her very cautious of the princedom's new guests. Like a guard dog not liking someone entering their master's yard, she instinctively expected trouble And hoped she was wrong.

As the Prince dismissed the on lookers, Star could not help but think that the Asians were trouble and had ulterior motives, only giving Prince Bright lip-service. Though Star knew that Bright was no one to fuck around with, and if he sensed some sort of dissension he would be quick to extinguish it.  This thought eased Star's concerned mind as she left the balcony with the rest of the on lookers.
