Allison Fashion runway (Star Flashback)

Allison picked up Rebecca at the Ivory Tower after the much needed refreshments. Rebecca was wearing her usual clothing with a ton of questions about where the japanese Ventrue was going so fast. The stirring wheel turning steady like she had the road memorized. NYC traffic was heavy at all hours, at night, specially this late there were some areas of the City where Allison was able to hit the gas a little more.

Eventually they left NYC and went straight to Albany, Rebecca's home town, and also Allison's haven. On her way Allison kept talking about a woman usually known as MEWMEW, who apparently had a huge impact in Hu's wardrobe. According to the nonstop verbalization this designer was perfect to help Star.

Allison said at some point.
"You'll see Becca, this girl is perfect!! PERFECT I'm certain!"

Apparently this designer wasn't the typical uptight snobbish type but a genera on her own, eclectic, exotic and creative like no other she will meet ever. Using her own clothing as example of perfection. For Star this was a revelation of sorts, Allison did had a sense of style sharing some similarities with Star's comfort zone.

Eventually Allison made a few turns heading down town Albany. Heading directly to one of most expensive areas of the City, right on top of a building was her atelier, occupying all of the penthouse. Behind the building was a parking lot where the Ventrue left the car and from there through an elevator went straight up to the PH, after announcing their presence with an intercom at the base level.

As they got close to the atelier Rebecca's anxiety grew, feeling already uncomfortable for the anticipation. Eventually, the industrial doors of the cargo elevator opened, revealing a huge space full with working spaces for fashion design, including a private runway on one end and a very small desk area with computers at the other.

With all the expectation a sudden burst of sound made Star jump and immediately look in that direction.

MewMew yelled to the top of her lungs.
"HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!"

Star was now looking at a japanese mature woman dressed with a teenager attitude and hairdo with high vinyl platforms, really high, with transparent heels. The tight size zero dress was colorful and bright, specially under the high light of the warehouse.


Her dark skin and eclectic style was not as confusing to Star as the bat she was carrying on one hand. Allison made an expression like she was going to be ran over by a train and a second later mewmew hugs Allison in the air saying all sorts of japanese words.

Then with Allison in the floor the japanese looks at Rebecca head to toes and with certain contempt she asks in japanese something very short and obvious.

Allison answers.
"This is my sister mewmew, Rebecca...

Rebecca, meet Michiko Koshino, a.k.a. mewmew."

" ....Its a pleasure to meet you, Ms.Koshino, or would you prefer to address  you as MewMew?  I'm Rebecca Garrison, but you may also call me Star if you wish."

Mewmew said with a heavy japanese accent.
"Allison sista can call me mewmew.. the pleasura is all mine, Star." then looking at Allison she said "Tell me Hu, to what do I own the honor? need clothes for your sista? yes?"

Allison nods but replies softly in japanese using the word 'MET' included somewhere in the phrase. Causing Mewmew to explode again with a japanese expression.
"NAAA NIIIIIIIIIIIII" surprising both again.

Allison shrugs and the woman looks at Rebecca with a shocked expression of disbelieve: open mouth and wide open eyes.

Mewmew  says as she starts walking down to the office area.
"Come with me"

Along the way there are several outfits, none of which were formal in the Ventrue sense. Still many looked like something Star can relate to a meeting or other formal occasions.

By the time Rebecca arrived Mewmew was already standing next to a punching bag hanging from the ceiling. There the designer was standing using her baseball bat as a cane and said very softly and calmed
"This year theme is asian clothing, you could not be in better hands Star-chan, I am best japanese designer and can help you to dress nice, very fancy clothes... but I need to explain something..."

He starts hitting the punching bag with each word, trying to get something out of her system.
"I... DON'T ... MAKE ... TRASH ... CLOTHES..." she finishes trying to recover some of her composure fixing her hair a little and then she continues.

"What I am trying to say... I know how to dress you... the MET Gala, big event! You will look NOT like that.

Do you understand?"

Allison worries and looks alternative between Star and MewMew, finally saying.
"Please MewMew, don't be so rude! Star asked my help!"

MewMew says right after.
"MET Gala big event! My honor on the line as well... my clothes are ma soul, yes?"

Parading around like a pretentious overdressed peacock for celebrities to gawk at for a fashion pissing contest makes my skin crawl, to be perfectly honest.

MewMew got her right hand to her chest in an expression of horror.

just to show off how "posh" or "high fashion" I can be to a bunch of people I don't even know and probably won't even like. Kinda pisses me off.

MewMew screams.
"I HAVE NEVER MET SOMEONE SO SELFISH MY GAWD!!"

She rolls her eyes at Rebecca and then said.
"The world just spins around you? doesn't it? GAWD!"

Allison steps back trying to not get splash by the blood. Then MewMew says.
"You're just a canvas sweetheart.... you think that these fine people will be looking at you...? well nooooo....noooo... noo... let mE tell you they don't....

They don't care who you're inside girl!! They only see who are you in the real world... no one will spend time with a nobody. Cuz' everyone wantz something and if you treat yourself like trash, what good can you do for anyone?"

Then the mature japanese woman looked at Allison and said.
"Allison... my love, what are you doing this to me? Haven't I treat you like a daughter?"

Allison stands in front of Rebecca scolding her with her eyes, then turns to look at MewMew.
"Yes, of course MewMew, you're like a mother to me... listen, she doesn't realize she stands for something greater than herself. Is not you, I mean... she has come a long way... but still she needs to learn and we don't have much more time."

" ....I do need help. And sadly... This whole Gala thing I understand that my ass isn't the only one on the line. Even if I find such a event extremely trite

MewMew sighs and says to Allison
"I know that without my help you're doomed, my dear. I cannot allow that to happen, let's start..."

Then back with cold gaze at Rebecca she says.
"Star-chan, go there to undress and use any of the robes there..."

MewMew then starts doing some strange things. First she starts measuring Rebecca's limbs among other body parts, takes some sort of electronic pistol to measure her skin color, also her eye color... Rebecca didn't know you could actually measure colors but ok....

Then she takes a book without pages, instead full of clothes one book per lining type with different colors in a very specific order. Most of the work from that point was trying stuff, some times she wanted to know about the match between Star's skin and a bunch of fabrics, next it was all about the colors and combinations and so on...

Rebecca was forced to dress and undress probably a hundred times in the following hours... while MewMew was taking some notes on her pad, drawing sketches on a book and talking in japanese mostly with Allison.

Then the artist stands up during a revelation and screaming more than talking she says.
"THIS MET GALA IS ALL ABOUT ASIA... ASIA FROM A WESTERN PERSPECTIVE...!!"

A moment of silence and then she says.
"I look at you and I see a WOLF... a TIGER... a RAVENOUS CREATURE.... I see you and I sense Bloodlust... devotion!!"

She mutters to herself and then says out loud.
"Asia has many creatures like that but we can't portray you like a monster... no! NO!... You must be a fantasy, a nightmare, a dream... somehow a remembrance of a monster, something you don't wish to be real..."

Suddenly she stops and turns at Allison telling loudly many japaense words and finally repeats over and over.
"ANIME!! ANIME!!"

MewMew then escorts Allison and Rebecca out of the Atelier excusing herself saying she had a lot of work to do.


A few nights later Allison and Rebecca were back. To see what had MewMew came to. Right now both were going up through the elevator.

When Rebecca and Allison arrived to the atelier MewMew was expecting them around her office. She seemed very excited about the whole thing, also Allison was non stop about how meaningful was from Kumiko to actually take it this serious; apparently she has been calling Allison to share some of her thoughts and leaked the info that she was making a whole collection for Star, whatever that means.

There was an actual curtain around a small circle where a manikin should be standing.

MewMew was very excited indeed, explaining how this was a great work, something was felt so proud of. For Star she was mentally preparing herself to show false appreciation for something she felt very very skeptic about.

Suddenly MewMew rose the curtains revealing a very surprising outfit.

It had a sort of dark gray mink coat with redish stripes, that looked like a red wolf fur, over a red and black corset open in V on front and with leather straps on the back that looked like a dominatrix body armor in a way.

Below she choose silver stained black leather pants along with skirt cape that went out from its hips in the same fur as the coat, simulating several wolf tails tightly attached to each other sweeping the floor behind; for shoes red leather high heel boots with straps and silver locks on the back side.

The manikin even had a gag, like a black hokey mask with a feral expression and actual silver like wolf teeth attach to it, in the shape of a feral grin, bleeding red painted blood from it.

For jewelry the manikin had a large diamond necklace, heavy in detail below the neck with seven thin threads of silver cord falling in front: one large ending between the boobs and three shorter on each side of it; that came with a pair of long diamond with white gold hanging earrings, and claw like rings for each pointing finger made also in white gold with diamonds. On top of her head a very austere red and black leather bandanna as a final touch, to grab the high hairdo.

Allison and MewMew both look at Star overreaction in silence with a serious expression. The japanese woman ends crossing her arms over her chest and tilting her head to one side. Allison buries her face between her hands wishing for the earth to eat her right away.

MewMew starts looking for her baseball bat to smash the manikin to shreds.

Allison saw the Beast trying to take control for a second and how quickly did Rebecca managed it. Relaxing and letting Rebecca express her frustration.

MewMew jaw fell down when all the emotion and rage came from Rebecca, experimenting some sort of ecstasy by receiving such potent fierceness. She drop the bat in front of Rebecca and went to hug her with her head tilted with an expression hard to read but the movement reminded Star a vampire kiss.

Right when Star was about to punch MewMew in the breadsack she felt a corny hug and heard her whisper 'I am sorry'. Rebecca heard her plea as a desperate expression from the bottom of her heart.

Breaking the hug and holding Rebecca's shoulder the vamptress was able to see the woman's tears. She said.
"You're perfect! This outfit is perfect! Let's get you dress, I still need to make some final adjustments."

When Rebecca started to walk down the runway she felt like living a surreal experience, as she dragged down the wolf tails-like skirt cape, that on front partially covered her leather pant hip with an exquisite embroidery. The silver tainted patches on her tights reflected the white lights with dull luster in contrast of the polish red leather of the high heels.

When she got to the end of the runway a mirror was waiting for her, the gag completely concealed the beast in her reflection and her crazy eyes even gave a higher level of allure to the fantasy of the monstrous being she was portraying. The dominatrix body armor, the claw like rings were all expression of the feral nature of her attire.

MewMew explained the illusion was not complete, that she needed the false nails with incrustations, makeup and hairdo but to Star she was so empowered, so stunning, ravaging that she actually ended speechless. The lack of breathing actually allowed MewMew to make ever tinier the size of the corset; her extremely pale skin shinned in contrast of the dark Gothic attire and she could only dream how good would she look wearing makeup and the rest of the accessories.

MewMew said.
"You're representing the japanese mythological beast called Kitsune... the nine tail fox."

MewMew and Allison were so happy and Star looked very elegant on top of all. The embroides were amazing, the jewelry, the details were awesome. Everything seemed so feminine but not in the delicate fragile way most people would portray females as weak but as brutal huntress that could not be mistaken as a male predator.

Star changed back and MewMew put the gown on a very large box with tons of plastic. MewMew actually insisted to be the one dressing Star the D-day and she even recommended a makeup artist and advised Star to bring her own photographers to the gala it wasn't just customary but also a way to assure at least one good photograph for social media (referring of course to newspapers and magazines)

Once everything was set and Star back on her clothes she felt the diminishing effect of her rags. The empowerment was over.

Suddenly MewMew took out a gift box, a gift meant for Star. Inside was a large sketchbook with many ideas MewMew thought would be great for Star to dress. Although many were outside her comfort zone, she felt more confident to trust the artist on her vision and at least try to see how it felt like.

Of course none of these designs could be found on any stores, however Star could try to assemble something using parts from different places, to match the best possible MewMew's vision.
