Staten Island had the largest Anarch comunity in New York State, with over four dozen vampires under the guidance of Baron Boss Callihan, a respected figure in the Kindred Society, even among the Camarilla and the Sabbat. These vampires leaved in relative peace, minding their own business and relating in diplomatic terms with the rest of the Boroughs.

Rumors about the werewolves overthrowing the Princedom of Vancouver were more notorious with each passing day, preparing the Camarilla for dark times to come all over Canada but one day the unthinkable happened: a huge raid of werewolves suddenly appeared in Staten Island, over one hundred of their kind started to hunt the Anarch Elders one by one in their Havens with a surgical precision, scattering the rest of the Ancillae and Neonate to their own fate, without guidance or strategy the Forgotten Borough became an Slaughter House.

Those who dared to resist were instantly annihilated overnight, the wiser escaped to mainland asking for Sanctuary under the Protection of the Brujah Primogen Peter Midnight. The majority of these kindreds were Brujah but there were Anarchs from almost every Clan, asking for Hospitality and Passage to run away from New York down to the west coast, looking for warmer latitudes in California.

Almost immediately the Camarilla and the Anarch tried to recover their Island without realizing the magnitude of the werewolf force that had invaded. Usually the shapeshifters worked in Packs but these were highly organized as a modern army under a consolidated command and had available high tech gizmos that took their capabilities to the next level. Along with the Kindred the Wyrm itself defended against this threat, using it's corporations: Pentex, to destroy the invaders but not even the join forces of these two great adversaries were enough to recover the control of the Island, wasting an incredible amount of resources in the process.

As the word spread worldwide dozens of werewolves traveled to America, swearing fealty of North Star, joining the fight and replacing the few casualties the Wyrm as a whole was able to inflict to them. Bringing not just blood to spill but more resources, mundane and spiritual to reinforce their position and making of Staten Island the most significant threat against Kindreds in the whole world.

At this point, Staten Island is the most dangerous place on the State for a Kindred. Any and All attempts to sneak into the Island had failed even with the use of mercenaries and joint forces of the rest of the supernaturals present in New York City.
