As Rebecca moved rapidly and unstealthy through the roof Enigma detected her and ran to the up coming pickup truck open cabin and directed the group to the right building. Simultaneously they yell to inform the other group to follow them as they started to move down the block.

At the same time Star was starting to climb down the fire stairs as fast as she humanly could.

He makes a very short run and jumps from his truck to the back of Rebecca's vehicle.

Brian's pick up truck gets out of the alley screetching its wheels as it turns over the street, leaving a cloud of smoke from the burnt tires and black marks over the paviment. The lights on the following trucks puts them at least 150 feet away and moving fast to catch up.

The Bronx is pretty much empty at this late hours but nevertheless are many obstacles in a highspeed car chase. From prostitutes walking the sideways or crossing streets to homeless and few cars just trying to get from A to B. Whatever the case this scene attracts a lot of attention. Screams and insults are yelled while supermarket pushcars are demolished and people run to safety trying to avoid the three trucks.

Rebecca wasn't thinking about pushing the breaks, this was all about gas... so her foot was down threating to break the pedal as anxiety took over and the beast got even more present. The car chase wasn't free of mistakes, slaming inter street defenses and passing dangerously close to light poles made no grace on the car painting but it was what it was. On her second look both persecuiters were getting very close, specially the first vehicle with the LaSombra riding the back of the car.

While Rebecca was focus on getting to the agreed point several mismatches started to highlight in her mind: First, where was this guy pack? second why isn't using shadows to obstacle her visibility at least.

The first car was getting very close, Rebecca started to hear the roar of their engine and the screams of the gang members shooting wildly against Star and her car. Then crossing across a street another car in counter way came close enought to almost crash with Rebecca but she managed to dodge (barely) while the other truck didn't. The crash was very violent, sound of broken glass and thorn metal growled next to Rebecca as she, throught the driver's mirror could see Enigma-man taking a leap of faith, turning in the air and landing safetly, even easily in the back of her truck before she could break her awe for such an impressive move.

The second car followed, evading the crashed cars and continue the highspeed chase.

As police sirens began to fill the air and closing by, Rebecca hears the glass crushing behind her as Enigma-man throws in two small objects that bounce inside the driver's cabin and into the dark. Second act, the man jumps out of the moving vehicle as graceful as a fucking ninja, he lands and rolls over to stand back on, just sliding over his shoes to finish in a epic move.

The second car deviates from persecution and stops near to pick up Enigma man.

Star didn't give a damn about the chaos she was causing, its just common place for the Sabbat to do so. Let the blood-bags complain about the noise, It truly didn't bother her.

What bothered her was this crazy mother f*cker who just busted in her window and through in what only she could imagine we're grenades into the truck's cabin.

Sirens were almost in the scene at this point while Star jumped out of her car, as a desperate move to avoid being blown by grenades in the cabin. The fall was hard, her body slamed to the ground and started knocking her head against the paviment, once and again, and again as she stopped.

From the ground, confused by the conmotion and trying to figure out her next move the truck not too far from her exploded, reaching the gas depot and bursting into flames.


The mayhem reached Rebecca making her Beast to go into Rostcheck as she tried to control it. Fireiry pieces of her car passed by and over her head as the expansive wave made her roll backwards feeling the heat caressing her skin. Meanwhile, pressured by the inminent presence of the cops the gang members started to get nervous, Tattoo man was yelling to go away but Enigma was still on the hunt for blood. Nevertheless, he couldn't get back alone and he had no authority over this crew yet. So they did a final spray of bullets over her as they ran out of the scene.
