A Night for the Dead! (Ahsad)
The arrival to Shepherd's Tavern was smooth, the travel was silent and easy all the way. Almost an hour later Ahsad had arrived and everything seemed as usual. Few people in the entrance and the door opened wide.
"Shepherd's Taver ma'am. As you requested
Have a good night" said the driver.

She sits out of the way.

Almost an hour later Fingers approaches to Ahsad's table with his funny look.
"Good evening, sorry to keep you waiting. How is everything going?"

"Well enough for me. I am about full..which is a nice change. Understandable. I have more information. Shall we head to the downstairs table again?"
she smiles.

Fingers smiles and says.
"Of course, follow me"
Minutes later they arrive to the same room than before, once there Fingers takes a sit and offers the one in front of him to Ahsad with a gesture of his hand.
Then he says.
"Welcome to the meeting room once more, I'm glad to have you here. I've been talking to some people about that information that you gave me the last time and I also have some information to share.
How do you want this? Can you start with the news you have?"

she sits.
"As have I. Thankyou. Not a problem. I have a feeling you may appreciate and understand what Im talking about. alas it isnt good."
She reads aloud the notes she took after talking to her sires man as well as explaining a maelstrom.
"As you may know, this does not bode well for our city."
"What did you learn?"

Re: A Night for the Dead! (Ahsad)
Fingers sit comfortably and starts a long talk.
"Ok, fair enough, I'll start.
The first thing I went to find out was about this Midnight Train, I've heard about it but not here in NYC. Some of my dead friends told me that Chicago and Detroit had permanent stops of the Midnight Train, that was more a usual mean for transportation than something wierd or scary, they also told me that New York doesn't have a Midnight Train stop but..." short pause.
"I was curious, so I went to check the NYC most antique stations, I wanted to make sure about this, I did that yesterday after we talked and early tonight. After asking around in the stations some fellows there told me that a Train just like that had been showing around near midnight!
Can you imagine my face?!" his voice reflected excitement.
another pause, longer...
"But that's not all... I found cracks in the station, cracks in the Gaunlet! and that was scary!
So here is the deal, I know what is the Station's name and I will go to see this Midnight Train myself! What about that??!!" he says smiling.

Re: A Night for the Dead! (Ahsad)
she takes notes.
"I am glad you are taking this seriously. I would like to come with you and see what there is to see. If there are cracks in the gauntlet that could be where Spectres could emerge. If a maelstrom happens, there could be weather phenominom that could affect the city. We were warned for a reason I would think."

she reiterates what she said.
she speaks of the nature of the midnight train, of the maelstrom..of spectres and weather phenominom, of what could happen to the city and etc. with some more enthusiasm.

Re: A Night for the Dead! (Ahsad)
Fingers listened to Ahsad story with full attention. She started speaking about the possible appearance of a Maelstrom in the city, it was obvious, however, the change in his expression when, in serious pose, Ahsad started to theorize about the conection between the spiritual storm and the actual physical weather in this plane. Fingers was not upset but trying to hide a smile, his eyes seemed to be betraying his pretended politeness, transparenting a hideous mock hiding inside, still he was trying to be educated.
When Ahsad started to bind the spiritual currents and energy flows with the physical explaination of a hurricane, mixing the doppler effect with some Shadowland Knowledge Finger rouse his hand with the palm open, asking please Ahsad to stop.

she blinks and stops.
"Did I get something wrong?"
She doesn't seem super surprised by the possibility.
"You are most likely more expert than I.."

Fingers moves his head side to side and says.
"Wrong? not really. I wanted to ask you a question before you continue. From where did you got that information?" his tone of voice and his expression was as serious as it was at the begining.

"Well to cover my bases I contacted a Samedi my sire knows. He was kind enough to have his servant relay the relevant information."
He can perhaps tell there is more to it to what she says but that it also sounds accurate.

Re: A Night for the Dead! (Ahsad)
Fingers touches his chin implying interest and says.
"I see...
You shouldn't trust the Samedi then, some of that information is unaccurate at minimun, and there are certain things that are blantantly false.
At least they explained you what Maelstroms are, correctly, also seems correct that a Maelstrom may occur in consequence of this 'thing' that is comming, if it's as destructive as your spirit claimed, then it's very likely, but that's not new ins't it?
I mean you already told me the other day about a possible Maelstrom and these adds nothing to that information, nothing truthworthy at least." he says in a honest evaluation.

Re: A Night for the Dead! (Ahsad)
"Perhaps I misinterpreted what was said. I am sorry..new information..well I guess it was more confirming it. I dont recall mentioning The Maelstrom the first time just the train and that was more about the train. I'm kinda new at this."
She frowns.

She was certain she couldn't have brought up the maelstrom before she heard from her sire.
{The question is is Fingers merely mistaken or trying to decieve for some reason?}
She studies his body language, willingness to meet her gaze and thinks on what and how he said it.

Re: A Night for the Dead! (Ahsad)
According to Ahsad perceptions Finger was absolutely sincere, per haps mistaken but with good intentions deep inside. Indeed Ahsad got the information about the Maelstrom from Charles' letter and this is the first meeting after she got that letter but he was so certain, so sure about his words that was difficult to say he was wrong.
Fingers says.
"Misinterpreted or not would be good to have a fair an honest exchange here, you gave very valuable information, now I'm giving you a good intel about what's going on, wouldn't you agree?"
