Wolf's van arrived to Jhonatan's crib. He was an strange man, what people call and noctambule. Always awake between video games and porn. Not a surprise he's so sleepy during the day but nothing an eventual snif of something and redbull won't fix.

Madison knew two things, he is up to anything that's actually the main reason he still has a job at the station he has gone with Madison to the strangest places for an interview. Secondly, he lives alone with the exception of an occasional whore just passing by to drink some tea.

The lights of his low middle class suburbian were on and she could see him by the living room windows, sitting playing video games. At least he wasn't busy.

Madison anticipating visiting Jhonatan's place, made sure to grab a cold 18oz RedBull from the liquor store as she grabbed some liquid courage for herself.
She parks on the street and locks up her van, then makes her way to the front door with her 'bribe'.

She knocks on the door in a hard rapped succession like a police man would and shouts in a deep voice...
OPEN UP JHONATHAN... THIS IS THE M.I.B, WE HAVE YOU SUROUNDED.. GET OFF PORN HUB!
She said trying not to make any giggles in her Voice but failed and broke into laughter at the end.

Once Jhonathan opens the the door she will present him with the red-bull and a wide smile

Few seconds passes from the first knocks on his door to the revolt about trying to paused the game while jumping out of his sit to open the door. Madison even heard something crashed and more incongruent noise inside. Eventually the door opened and she saw the familiar face of his friend.

He managed to say as Wolf puts the redbull can in his hand. Then he turned and as she entered unnounced to his home he said.

"Where da fuck are we going? ... You're bribing me!".

He immediately opens the can and starts drinking it.

Madison simply smiles at her friend and shoves the red bull in his face.

She said as she walks through the doorway into his living room.
We got a dead-line too.
She said spinning around on her heals in a overly dramatic fashion.

Got a tip about some mystic shop mumbo jumbo.
Yeah yeah I know what you are going to say...
Ugh god Maddy, really??? Another conartist psychic trying to get there 5 mins of fame!
Yeah I know how it sounds... and yes.. its probably nothing but some PR cash grab stunt....

Upon calling them to find out some info about a lead I'm working on they got all cryptic on me...
Kinda took me by surprise... didn't even give them my name and they be like...
"Ms. Wolf, We're expecting you very soon. Come tonight, the session is about to start The Magnificent Maximus awaits in The Catacomb of the Bronx - Shepherd's Tavern at Midnight Come prepared for your destiny''
She said giving her best edge-lord "spooky" impression of what was said to her on the phone.

But.... dude. it was super creepy...
Ok besides from the spooky cliché of wanting to meet at midnight... and the whole cemetery thing,
Something just bothers me about this.... can't place my finger on it though.
I checked on the buildings location and my informant told be its owned by the Italian mob or some sh!t.
I want to check it out... but I'm kinda a pussy and I don't want to go alone.
She said with a giggle.

Now I know its a crime to pull you away from your nightly wack. But I need your help... you do say you are up for anything... right? And you wouldn't want me to go investigate this all my myself ... right?
She said trying to lay on the charm and twirl her long blond hair with her fingers

Madison and Jhonny spoke for about fifteen minutes small talking about some needed clarifications. Needed by Jhonathan like 'Catacombs' and 'Ancient tunnel networks under New York' ... really? very important since dear Jhonny wasn't the brightest bulb in the classroom if he had assisted any.

He stood up and went back to get his "crew" and to get ready. Talking a long heavy sweater an aluminium bat and one set of knucles just to give happy thoughts to paparazzies. He even changed his T-shirt to put on a Marvel's Punisher black one to fit the occasion.

Then he asked Madison.
"Where to? Woodlawn Cemetery or Shepherd Tavern?"

Madison gave Jhonathan a warm Smile as she saw his T-shirt and chuckled slightly
That's my little bad-ass! Hee-Hee

Ok so um.. I think we should go to the Shepherd's Tavern at Midnight ... that's where the creepy dude on the phone said he wanted to meet me so.. Um... so he can reveal my destiny to me or some sh!t...

I'm not quite sure what to expect... but I want to at least have some of our voice recording equipment at the ready....
you know so we can conduct an interview when they want to a seance or something and call Elvis from the dead to come and speak with us''

Honestly I'm planning this whole thing to be a hoax and a complete waste of time. But certain things have happened today that has led me to think that I should probably not just shy away from this but look into it a little bit more. You know what they say you can never judge a movie by its trailer...

So come on Shaggy let's get to the Scooby-Doo van
She said with a laugh as she starts to gather up her things and head out to her van. She unlocks the passenger door for him and she does her strange routine of walking around the van twice checking for anything out of place and checking under the carriage before unlocking the driver side door and climbing in.
She then proceeds to drive to her destination

The place seemed crowded from the outside. A guy stood by the door opening people in and out of the place with a gorilla actitude and a suit. Bearded and serious he was more about looking the door than the surroundings. Outside there was at least ten more people two inside a black car next to where Madison parked across the street, another four waiting to enter and other two couples split talking and smoking cigarretes, two thirds of them wearing black suits, like MiB convention. The street was darker than it should be and light bulbs seemed more pale than usual.

As Madison turned off the car Jhonathan said to her.
"This place is another shit Maddy. I can't bring my crew with me. What should we do?"

Madison sat for a moment observing her surroundings. She was quite and seemed to "people watch" everyone around the door man.
She finally diverted her gaze and checked her watch for the time.

Fu¢k.. Not really what I was expecting.. I don't even know who exactly we are supposed to meet.
Guess we will just have to leave your crew in the van.
I'll bring the small recorder with me, hand it to me and I'll conceal it in my bag.
I don't really like this place... I feel very under dressed. Fu¢k.. I wonder if we can even get through the door.
She said eyeing the door man.
OK might as well try.... Just play it cool.
We ain't here to start any shit.
I just don't understand why they picked here of all places.
She said as she prepared herself and stepped out of the van to take in a better look at her surroundings.
She was nervous... That was easy to see.
Part of her instincts were telling her just to get the fu¢k out of this place. But her desire to seek answers over read her Natural Instincts

After a few moments of looking around she gathered her courage and approach the doorman in her naturally friendly manner.
Evening... Maybe you might be able to help me.. I'm supposed to meet a Mr. Maximum?...
She said with all the I bet uninsurance to her voice. Clearly she was thinking she was in the wrong place.

The doorman was at least 5'8'' wide and corpulent. As they got close he observed the couple for a couple of seconds. Then he spoke with a heavy italian accent.
"Yes Ms. Wolf, of course. Magnifient Maximus is expecting you... alone." as he finished his sentence looking at Jhonathan in a intimidating way.

Jhonathan took a step back. Clearly intimidate by the guy and said.
"Is it ok Madi? Do I wait outside?"

And before Madison got the chance to answer the bully replied.
"Yes. You wait outside. Ms. Wolf please come in." partially giving his back to Jhonathan to block him and giving some space to Madison to come in. Inside the smell of cigarrettes reeked.

Madison's cheery disposition broke slightly and she took on a nervous look when the doorman informed her that she would have to go inside aloan.
This wasn't part of her plan, and she really didn't want to do it.

She looked to Jhonathan and then back to the door man. Then tried to turn on her charismatic charm.
( charisma 3, Appearance 4 ( specialty: friendly face). Along side merit Enchanting Voice for persuasion)

Awe come on now, Jonathan here is part of my radio crew. I need him.
Where I go, he should be able to go.
Dont worry, I'll take responsibility for his actions and make sure he's a good boy.

She said gave a little nod to Jonathan as she tries to persuade the doorman to let him accompany her.

The doorman stared at Madison and finally said while passing his arm over Jhonathan's neck.
"My friend here can enter the Tavern but you'll see Magnificent Maximus alone. Okey Ms. Wolf?

And you my friend. Sit quitely at the bar and don't anything stupid. Do you hear? NOTHING!" puting his face next to Jhonathan's. While Jhonny nervously and repeatedly nods.

Then he let the couple in.

Inside the place was old and reeked of cigarrettes while everyone was having a good time, driking beer and eating pasta. There were more noise comming from the people speaking loudly than from the live music group at the back playing an accoustic guitar and female voice in Italian.

The doorman came after the two and made some hand signs that the bartender and another lady understood perfectly. One was clear pointing Jhonathan and then to the bar.

The young lady was about 5'4'' green and hazeled eyes, blue short dress nothing tight more like a night casual ocassion with high purple heels and dark bluish hair. Perfect make up and nails.
"Good evening I'm Irene. Welcome to the Shepherd's Tavern. Please come with me". Taking Jhonathan by his arm and walking Madison and Jhonny down to the bar.

"Nice to meet you Ms. Wolf. You're a little early but Maximus will see you in any minute. Would you like something to drink? Is on the house."

Madison seemed a little more conftrable knowing that Jhonathan was at least in the building, even if he couldn't attend the meeting.

As they walk to the bar Madison gives Jhonathan a look as to say "Don't F*ck up here"

She smiled at the woman and tryed to be as polite as possible.
Its a pleasure to meet you Irene, I will definitely take you up on that drink.
She said with naturally charming smile

Madam Irene, I appreciate Mr. Maximus making the time to see me. Especially at this late hour.
I will have to admit I do not know nothing about Mr. Maximus. I honestly have heard nothing about him until earlier this evening. Though he seems to know about me...
Is he a fan of my work?
May I ask what he is like and what am I to expect. I wouldn't want to be rude.
She said honestly

Irene conducted the young couple to the bar. Jhonathan asked for a double scotch on the rocks as Madison did her own request. While drink were being served she said.
"You'll have to ask his buttler Sire Battaglini he is the one who ask for your appoinment and requested the joyful pleasure of receiving you while he attended Maximus down stairs."

She layned back to the bar and said.
"I seriously doubt that Maximus is a fan. He is not so into technology to appreciate your show dear Lady. I understand is about Occult is that correct?"

Lady Irene took a thread of hair behind her ear and fixed her eyes, green eyes, spectral eyes into Madison's causing a discomforting sensation. Strange, how her eyes colour changed with light.

The ambient was eerie indeed. Madison would have felt more secured in Woodlawn Cemetery after all. In the mean while Jhonathan was focused in his drink trying to get a grip.

Madison felt very out of place here , maybe it was the fact that she knew that this place was tied to the mafia . Or maybe it was the fact that everybody here was way better dressed than she was . There just was something about this place that made her feel uneasy. And the woman sitting before her wasn't making it any better... At least the drink she ordered would help give her some liquid courage.
Though she tried to push these uneasy feelings down and ignore her instincts to leave. Her curiosity would not let her give in to such feelings.

Huh? Sooooo this has nothing to do with me show?
She questioned curiously, starting to wonder what the real meaning of this meeting was, if it wasn't for some sort of publicity.

She said trying to bring a bit of levity to the conversation after feeling her eyes rest on her in such a way. She was getting a bit more uncomfortable by the moment.

Yeah I mean regardless on how my show comes off sometimes. I honestly appreciate the occult... it's actually something I am rather fascinated by.
I always like to think of it as some sort of secret art that has become so obscure people can't see it in plain sight anymore when it's being used. Especially with the New Age movement but has started up since the 80s. You know.. Crowley, Garner, LaVey, and Cunningham, all fathers who played the hand and ushering in the new age.
Sadly though I'm beginning to think the real deal is dead. And magic has become something of a fad for pre-teens to repel against their parents. Or con artist who think that they can scam old people out of a buck. It's a sad State of Affairs but I guess that's the world we live in right?

Before Lady Irene had the chance to engage in a very interesting conversation with Madison a man came in from the contiguos room. He was very tall, at least 6'3'' very pale like a walking corpse and was dressing a black suit with a decaying atitude that made him seem more dead if that was possible.

Irene said while she made a bow.
"Sire Battaglini hello again. I've been entertaining your guest as requested."

Madison's cheeriness dropped for a moment and her eyes go slightly wide. The man was most prequel looking, WAY past anyone she would have expected to see in a place like this.
She gives the man a once over and quickly corrected herself, bounced back to her pleasant state as not to be rude to the gentleman.
Sire Battaglini ? .. yes, Madame Irene has been most accommodating while I wait..
Um.. pardon, but was it you who I spoke on the phone with?
If so, you make one hell of a 1st impression.
I do appreciate him taking time out of his night... but I'm slight at a lose why I have been requested here. Do you know what business Mr. Maximus has to discuss with me?

The man eyes went to Irene and said.
"Thank you Ms. Arriechi. As always you're very kind please amuse Mr. Williams for a little longer while Magnficient Maximus Spirituales meets with Ms. Wolf." Jhonathan turned back and watch this walking corpse call him by his last name and his jaw almost sank into the floor.

"Of course Sire. It would be my pleasure" she said with renovated interest in Jhonny.

"This way Ms. Wolf" as the man pointed in the direction he came from.

"All your question will be answered." he sentenced.

Madison entered into another dining room, this one more luxurious and had several well armed guys in everycorner all as intimitating that her "friend" the Doorman or even more given the semi automatic and machineguns they were carrying. Turning the next corner they started to descend a ramp to a first basement and there was an elevator that went deep down with two buttoms. <UP> and <DOWN>.

Meanwhile Sire Battaglini said.
"Thank you very much for assisting with so short notice. It was important for me to arrange a meeting between you and Maximus. I apologize for this tricks but a man in my condition doesn't have much of a choice so I gave the photograph to your friend and put Maximus card in the book.

To be honest I've been observing you ever since "They" started to pay attention to you. Quite an interesting human you're. Its a shame that your Blood already belongs to Them I think we could have get along just fine.

But anyway, it is what it is."

The elevator finally got to the bottom level and Battaglini said.
"This corridor takes you to Maximus." pointing in a passage in front from other four in this room.

When Madison turned back to see Sire Battaglini or follow him or something she realized he was gone.

As Madison left Jhonathan in Irene's care she mouthed the words to him "behave"
She said this more because she was actually starting to get concerned for Jhonathan safety in this place. She went ahead and tossed him the keys to her van just in case he felt uncomfortable to the point of needed to find a safe place to wait for her.
So to be honest she was really glad that he was here with her.

She said her goodbyes to them both and thanked Irene for her time, then followed Sire Battaglini

She seemed still nervous but curiosity was definitely growing within her with each step towards the elevator. "This place has a sub- basement", how far down does this go? she thought to herself as they enter the elevator.

I apologize for this tricks but a man in my condition doesn't have much of a choice so I gave the photograph to your friend and put Maximus card in the book.

Wait... It was you?... But ... That means... You KNOW about "Them"!
she said with great surprise in her voice

She said starting to get a bit panicky

Madison looked around in the darkness in a bit of a panic she spun around looking for him but he was gone like he simply just vanished. Madison swallowed hard very nervous at this point. She tried to keep her breathing study and calm herself and not let her fears get the best of her.
She had been summoned here for a reason, and perhaps this Maximus man knows the answers and how she can save her life.
After a moment she kicks herself in gear... she has never been one to back from the unknown.
If indeed THEY have been watching her, she wants to know why. She precedes forward to find this Maximus character with great determination in her step. He has answers and she wants them.
