Step by Step Guide to Create a Character
1. Choose your Kind: in this website only Vampires and Werewolves are allowed so far, which do you want to play? You will find specific sections for each Kind where most information is available to make your life easy.
2. Choose your Concept: what's the simplest word you can think of to fully describe what you want to play in this game? Well that's your concept, make sure it is A Good Character for this game and also that your concept is not forbidden. If you've checked that and your Concept is still a 'Go' you'll be fine.
3. Your character sheet ain't your character! this is mandatory. Your character is what you imagine, not the sheet you put dots on, so you need to imagine a character you want to play, flesh it out in your imagination beyond powers and abilities, think of how he or she will behave, her voice tone, scars or tattoos, as much detail as you can imagine, the better and easier will be to continue the character creation process.
4. Write your Background Story: what's your character history, tell an interesting story, something worth reading, make it like you're writing a part of a book or a novel. Remember that your character back story will be included in the setting, tying it's ends to other story lines and story arcs that are around in the setting. This is not optional.
5. Fill the Character Sheet Form: if you're starting as Human check out that link to get a bonus, or if you really want to start after your Embrace or First Change check out those links where the character sheet forms are.
THESE ARE THE BASIC STEPS. MORE RECOMMENDED INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE ACROSS THE WEBSITE.
