Wu's that Mandarin? Kueiji10
New York City has only one Court although many non aligned Kuei Jin have arrived to town during the last few years escaping from the customs of their people, looking for new ways to comprehend their demonic nature. Needless to say that The Court holds power over a minority of these creatures in NYC.

Mandarin Katsumoto Ichiyō
Wu's that Mandarin? Latest?cb=20190617085306&path-prefix=vtmb
She appears to be a middle age woman, perfectly attired at all times with silk usually of bright red and yellow colors representative of her Thrashing Dragon Dharma. Her perfect manners and social butterfly demeanor conceals the depraved monster she is.

Aside from social skills she's a master torturer, a sexual deviant and a machiavelic political mind. Born in 1900 in what was left of Feudal Japan Aristocracy, she lived during the Meiji Reform and grew up to become one of the most impressive writers of her time, specializing in poetry but in her personal life she was cold and calculating, always attached to her material necessities and leaving all sentiment and emotions at bay.

She was smashed under a heavily patriarchal culture, unable to express her art in public. Left to take her place as a second class citizen. That forced her eventually to publish her work under a pseudonym pretending to be a man, when discovered her family was publicly humiliated and she was forced to suicide. Retorning to the Middle Earth as One of the Yang, the Thrashing Dragons.

COURT OF NEW YORK CITY

Ichiyō Katsumoto brought three Jina with her from Japan, the most noticible for his knowledge about Kindreds of the West is Jina Yamato Akihiro from House Bishamon. Each Jina is in charge of four Wu (Families) of an average of five Kuei Jin each for a grand total of about 64 Kuei Jin under the ruling of the Mandarin, Twice that much is unaligned and rebel to the Court wishes, working alone or conforming small Wu of two or three for survival purposes but keeping a very low profile in Little China, Little Tokyo and other parts of the City, among them are many spies from the Quincunx, a few Dhampyrs and even less Shih.

Wu's that Mandarin? Empty Guo Long no Bushi

Post  Malakiel Sat Oct 19, 2019 7:10 pm

GUO LONG HEIKE

The former minions of Heike, the Gou Long Heike original from the Azure Court in Japan have come to America to safeguard the Court's Domain in Little Tokyo and Little China (China Town). These formidable kindreds were created as guard dogs of the Azure Court Kuei Jin using powerful blood magic but after their Master Yusuke ascended to Nirvana after his fight to defend Tokyo in November 1853 the Clan was released from their bond and able to act with a mind of their own.

Ever since the Guo Long have continued with their sacred duty to their motherland, some have traveled over Asia embracing new kindreds to defend the Clan positions in Korea, China and Malaysia, becoming in all cases fierce an unbreakable shield to defend the undead against their mighty foes.

Now in America during the Third Extension of the Great Leap Forward started during the fifties by the Chinese Quinqux the Guo Long are starting to settle their boundaries to protect the Mandarin Courts against it's enemies, first and fore most, the rebellious Kuei Jin defying her authority. Among them some Feng Long have come to weave the lay lines of China Town and Little Tokyo in their favor to turn the omens against all transgressors of the Mandarin's Laws, with no little opposition.
