She opens her eyes and follows Kumiko with awkward tiny steps while keeping her head down, partly out of respect and partly so she didn't fall on her face. She watched fascinated from Kumikos side, those she could see. The creatures pulling the house on wheels were beautiful and the dangerous looking creatures scared her just a little.

The man that approached looked so much like her papa Haruto. It couldn't be, could it? He was just Papa Haruto. Of course once Kumiko bowed, she copied her. This man was important even if it IS Haruto. Of course she highly respected him despite the hell he had put her through and how he had messed with her head. He was still her papa Haruto. Unless it was another dream. She wouldnt risk it being a dream if it was real, no matter how fantastical it seemed. The Haruto she knew was capable of some amazing things.

Haruto's bow was almost imperceptible but it was there.

The guard at the right of Haruto said.
"Lady Hotoke Kumiko, Lord Heike thanks your gentleness."

Kumiko rises and says.
"Please my Lord allow me to introduce Tatsudoshi Kaida, she's a new addition to our Clan."

Haruto's guards looks over Kaida evaluating her without saying a word, Haruto on the other hand says.
"Tatsudoshi Kaida isn't yet properly adhered to our Clan Kumiko chan, she will be promptly evaluated during this Clan meeting." he says harshly.

The Geisha replies.
"Of course my Lord, forgive me.

As you may know the Dawn is upon us so please forgive also my rudeness to overlook important manners for this meeting but I consider paramount to protect our Lord Heike and open the Gate."

Like it was common to have these unanswered conversations Kumiko bows again and turns her back on her guests moving down the stone path that splits from the hut's entrance and goes around it. Haruto and the two guards followed her at all times ignoring Kaida.

Kaida remains in her bow while she feels the eyes on her and even when Kumiko leaves to open a gate. Not yet properly adhered to our Clan? Evaluated? What does that mean? Tested? Wasn't she just tested twice? The man sounded like Haruto. Was he nobility? What would that make her? She stopped thinking then because her head was starting to hurt. She would straighten once addressed or encouraged to do so but not before in case there was some protocol she was in danger of breaking by doing so.

Another two more guards followed the ones accompanying the Elders one of them stopped next to Kaida, he had a similar armor to the ones at front but without the Crescent Moon in the forehead. The guard made a hand sign inviting Kaida to follow the rest of the group.

Kumiko was the first to arrive to the back of the hut where two huge goshinboku (Bodhi Fig Trees) standing next to each other, with rope belts tied around their trunks with several paper sheets hanging from them to protect the God Trees from the evil spirits that roam these forests.

Lost in the Sacred Mountain (Flashback) - Page 2 27765474212_43ea342d72_b

Between the two trees a circular stone platform was built, it was covered with musk and other plants giving it a very old looking fashion and also a very natural attune to it. Kumiko went to it's center and knelled next to the center of the rock circle and started praying when suddenly a huge energy disks bursted into existences, it had a blue bright color and was swirling in a vertical position just a few steps away from where Kumiko was.

Seconds later Kumiko stands up and bows allowing Lord Heike and the rest of the committee in.

She straightened and looked around briefly and in awe before following the others behind the hut She watched curious yet fascinated as Kumiko knelt and prayed on the flat rock. When the bright portal sprung up, Kaida couldn't help but gasp in surprise. Portals were just special effects in video games. How was this possible?

she looks at it in shock and is mesmerized by the swirling patterns of blue on blue. She would enter when directed the same way the others did and attempt to maintain her dignity in the kimono that allowed only for small steps. She remains between the guards as she moves and doesn't move out of her place.

Lord Heike was the first to enter, after him the rest of the people except for Kumiko that stood next to the Portal as the rest of the guards followed. When Kaida passed by the Geisha, Kumiko smiled to her and bowing said.
"Good bye Kaida chan, remember to behave, I will pray the spirits for your adhesion to our Clan."

Then she and the rest of the guards came through the water like swirling gate.

It was like jumping into a twister, being moved around, side to side and then back into reality after crossing an arctic froze liquid that left her entirely numbed and confused, not even sure of what happened.

Her confusion was only increased when she discovered herself stepping on snow, inside a frozen Forest somewhere across the Asian continent. Before her the caravan continued ahead as the guards were still coming out of the pool gate at her back; the long night path guided the committee deeper into the forest and up a mountain that looked like a volcano on the top.

Forest in Winter:

Eventually up that path the mountain had an open crack leading to a dark cave badly illuminated with purple shinning rocks that weren't for illumination but to cast shadows and confused the walkers forcing them to lose the right path.

Lost in the Sacred Mountain (Flashback) - Page 2 IMG_5320

A few steps inside when it was pitch black Kaida suddenly felt how her sense heightened again, allowing her to see clear as day the cave interior.

Lost in the Sacred Mountain (Flashback) - Page 2 Motiv
Eventually the group arrived to the most deep part of the cave where a Budhist Temple was built and by the time Kaida arrived Haruto was already standing in front of a group of asian dudes dressed as emperors and he kneel before them with great reverence.

The rest of the group coming with Haruto did the same immediately and Kaida would be force to do so even if she resisted.

She did smiled at Kumiko as she enters the portal wide eyed and immediately was shifted to one side. She did her best to keep her footing with her limited mobility, having to be steadied only a couple times by the guards. Once she exited, she was in awe of the beauty of the frost laden forest and followed the path laid by those before her. She wanted so badly to scoop up some snow but managed to behave herself. This was an important occasion and not the time to be a child.

She followed them up the mountain, not complaining about how difficult the climb was but knew to be quick. She slipped easily into the cave and let her eyes adjust, fascinated by how they do that. The cave was stunning in shades of blue and purple and shadows. She watched how they seemed to shift as she followed the others and eventually came to the cavern temple. Seeing Haruto kneeling, she knew these men were very important so lowered her eyes and kneeled with the rest of them with little to no prompting. If the big important guy kneels to them, who is she to do otherwise?

Lord Heike Haruto formally spoke some soft words that were barely audible at that distance and in the same fashion it was answered by the three emperors sitting on golden thrones in front of him.

Once the initial protocol was fulfilled Haruto stood up and bowing again from the high position he said.
"My Emperors, I pledge to thee looking for advice and wisdom...

I have embraced a one of my own, a Kindred, hoping she would be as the rest of the Guo Long a loyal servant of the Azure Court and true to the ideals it defends...

Her name is Tatsudoshi Kaida and I humbly ask you to clear her Path to Enlightenment and Service."

The left one of the three emperors an almost bald man, very old with an skin that look like transparent rice paper said.
"I Lord Past shall say this...

Your Blood has proven once and again to be right for the service of the Guo Long Heike, your lineage is pure and regardless of the sins of her Father she sprouts from a good branch. She is been bestowed with the Talents and the stars of her Past have spoken to accept her as one of the Court."

The second one of the three that stands in the center, a middle age man with black hair and thick beard, said.
"I Lord Present shall say this...

Tatsudoshi Kaida have been tainted with the steins of America, she doesn't know her place under the Heaven and puts herself over her sacred duty. Her Heart has a hole that she is eager to fill while it consumes her will, distracting her from the Path she was given... The Stars of her Present have spoken to deny her as one of the Court."

The third and last of the three that stands on the left, a young man barely on his twenties clean face and a nub on his hair said to Haruto.
"I Lord Future shall say this...

Tatsudoshi Kaida will complete the cycle that mislead her by going back to America and learn to serve and protect the Court there, where she will heal her heart and learn the True meaning of her Lineage facing the same horrors that made Our Kamisama to create our Clan in the Ancient Times...

The Stars of her Future have spoken to accept her as one of the Court."

Then a cacophony of voices coming from the three at the same time said.
"Tatsudoshi Kaida stand and come forth..."

I have embraced a one of my own, a Kindred, hoping she would be as the rest of the Guo Long a loyal servant of the Azure Court and true to the ideals it defends...

She listened carefully to the words spoken and picks them from the echo around her only to wonder. None of that made sense. What is Guo Long? What ideals does the Acure Court defend?

"I Lord Past shall say this...

Your Blood has proven once and again to be right for the service of the Guo Long Heike, your lineage is pure and regardless of the sins of her Father she sprouts from a good branch. She is been bestowed with the Talents and the stars of her Past have spoken to accept her as one of the Court."

Sins of her father? What sins? He worked hard and actually loved her on the rare occasion he was there.

Sacred duty? Does she even have one of those? Maybe if she knew what it was she could work towards it and wouldn't have such piece missing.

This was good, right? Healing and protecting nobles? She isn't good enough to protect herself from some school yard bullies, how will she protect this court?

"Tatsudoshi Kaida stand and come forth..."

She jumps slightly at the noise after focusing on the words so closely and she immediately stands up and moves to just half a step in front of Haruto and lowers again into a respectful bow. She didn't want to get closer than was proper but thought 'come forth' would mean in front of the others. She stands there tensely not knowing what to expect or what she was supposed to do.

The powerful presences of the Three Emperors was almost too much the bear, her steps became heavier as Kaida closed on the group of strange creatures, including her own Grandfather... it was obvious to the brink of delirium that these were not human but monsters in human shape, every nerve in her body was tensed not understanding the severity and inadequacy of her behavior that was being constantly monitored and judge by the rest of the present.

From her new perspective she could see a stand where a dozen of these ancient japanese demons in human shape were contemplating the three emperor's scene like jurors in a trial.

Haruto kept his head low in the presence of the Three Emperors and waited for the Trial to be over in silence.

The cacophony said.
"Tatsudoshi Kaida the Heaven has chosen a Path for you the day you were born as Human in this Earth. No mortal or immortal has bestowed a different destiny upon You...

...the night you became a part of the Dead has also bestowed a brand that defines you and changes you forever, cursing you to stay among the living without being one of them... It was destiny... -estiny... -stiny... -tiny..."
he concluded in echo.

Then after a short paused the three emperors continued.
"To serve your Clan you must serve your Destiny and that means that you must first understand yourself... -self... -elf..."

Adding right away.
"Hear our advice and go to America to discover the Truth about you... become aware of who you really are... understand into what you've become and then you will be able to Serve.... -erve... -ve..."

Then the three of them made a hand sign ordering her to withdraw and afterwards they continue speaking to Haruto.
"Mandarin Katsumoto Ichiyō rules the Azure Court in New York City, she will accept her in thy Domain and train her in thy new Path that opens before Tatsudoshi Kaida, support the Court of New York as a fair boon for her favors... avors... vors..."

Haruto bows from his sitting position and the cacophony ends.

She feels the invisible weight growing heavy as she stands in place. The harsh echo accosting her ears. After a moment, she focuses on just one voice and manages to understand the words but would need time to decipher what they are actually saying. She stands trembling as they speak as one and grips the kimono at her thighs to keep herself from pressing her hands over her ears. It also helped keep her knees from buckling.

Once dismissed, she backs up slowly back to her place and lowers again to her knees as they start talking again. She sits still as stone, waiting for her ears to stop echoing. A new path to discover who she really is? This should be interesting as long as she gets to learn something she can use and doesn't have to wear a kimono all the time, she will be fine. At least she hopes so. There are more like them in New York? She trembles at the prospect of seeing her father again even if he doesn't see her.

Haruto is also dismissed and then he stands up giving his front to Kaida looking down on her, waiting for her to move and retreat from the scene.

They walk away in silence and eventually the last guards to close the company (now on front as Haruto was the last one) lead them to a different wing inside the cave that was decorated as some sort of Shinto Temple with a wood gate japanese style.

Only Haruto and Kaida were in that Shrine, the rest waited outside. The Elder went straight to the Budha at the deepest part of this space to bow and present his respects, then he turns and sits on the floor pointing a space in front of him with his open palm and awaits for Kaida to sit down.

She moves quickly to stand and turn around to follow the men out of the cavern, her eyes down the whole time, watching the feet in front of her. So much is happening at once it was hard for her to keep up. As they move through more tunnels, her mind works to understand. Shes a vampire now like in the movies? Aren't vampires evil? She didn't really feel evil nor did she want to be. So what was this 'Clan' thing the Emperors were talking about? What was her Path that her father denied her?

They enter a new Shrine and she lifts her eyes to look around, as the men stopped outside the gate and Haruto moved inside. She followed him quietly and smiled, seeing the Budha. She liked how calm they were when she saw them back home in New York. They always made her smile even if they dressed funny.

She copies the bow and moves to the spot Haruto indicates and kneels humbly in front of him. She felt very exposed and self conscious but was feeling the importance of the event so remained still despite feeling tense and very much like she was being judged.

Haruto looks very serious, upset even, his gaze was fixed on Kaida with a very judgmental expression in his visage. This lasted for several minutes making her feel very uncomfortable, to say the least, he even ignored her comments if any, as he was evaluating her, looking deeply into her soul.

Kaida was feeling the pressure, crushing her much like the Emperor's gaze was upon her.

Suddenly Haruto sama says.
"Tatsudoshi Kaida... The legitimate daughter of Tatsudoshi Ryusuke... first born of his and heir of the Tatsudoshi legacy among two younger siblings...

Your obaasan Hinata brought you from America when the omens were right and now that you're here I can see that wisdom in our ancestors to have illuminated your Path of Return to Our Clan...

Yet you were taken away from your home, from your place under Heaven and although you were meant to transition through this Temple tonight, you don't belong here...

You're still young, too young perhaps to take responsibility for the burden that I have bestowed upon you with the Curse of Immortality that now allows you to walk dead among the living... but it is merely out of humbleness that I have accepted to play my role as your Progenitor and Maker as one of our Clan the Great Guo Long Heike Ryu...

Our mighty Clan has the sacred duty to Protect the Azure Court and where the Azure Court needs us, we will be there to Guard their Domains with our own flesh and bones, with our heart and soul, until none is left if that is what it takes...

What it means to be one of our Clan? What it means to be one of the hungry dead, walking but not living... Who are you and in what tho have become? Is conditioned to what you were before... there's no present without a past and so we are only the consequence of previous deeds, long time gone ago...

What you were is still incomplete... a cycle without closure... half a person, half a void... You must first find what you have lost before you can be truly one of us; and only in America you will, serving the Azure Court lead by the honorable Mandarin of New York City... only there you will complete the cycle and be ready to embrace your immortality."

He sentenced.

Lost in the Sacred Mountain (Flashback) - Page 2 Empty Re: Lost in the Sacred Mountain (Flashback)

Post  Guest Sat Nov 09, 2019 10:34 am

She squirms under his stern gaze, not knowing what she had done wrong. She had trained as hard as she could and done what was asked even if she didn't think she could. Now he looked at her as if she had disappointed him.

She grows frustrated as he speaks of her path and how she doesn't belong. If she didn't belong here, why was she here. These omens and ancestors would have guided him too, which would make it right. She knew if someone had told her what was happening, she would have a better idea how to deal with it. All the secrecy was maddening. If she was too young to take on the burden, it is only because of lack of guidance and knowledge.

She waits until he pauses before she speaks. She sounds sad and frustrated, her head hanging in shame. "I have fought for my place all my life and it was denied to me. I found a part of me with Obaasan. It was hard but felt right to me. I know I was meant for more even then. That feeling in my heart is what made me push forward all those times I wanted to stop. It was hard but it filled me with purpose and direction. I didn't have that with my father.

When I went to the mountain, I didn't know what to expect. I dreamed I was in the past and met someone who looked like me but wasn't me. She was who I could have been if I was born here. I wanted desperately to be her. Proud of who I am and confident in my abilitys. I was ready to stay and learn how to be that person. Someone who looked like you and someone who looked like dad did something to me that felt like they were shredding my insides. It hurt my head and my heart that you would do that but it wasn't you. Just someone who looked like you in a dream. I was not told why it was happening.

I was left lost on the mountain for a long time with no food and no water and no weapon to defend myself. I didn't know how to take care of myself because I was not guided nor was I told what was to happen. I became sick and was hunted by a large beast who hurt me in the same way the dream people did but more physically."
She presses a hand to her now dead heart and closes her eyes as the memory floods her mind.

"If you feel I am unworthy now, when I am so close to finding myself, why have I taken this journey? Why was obaasan so willing to start me on this path when I asked for help? Why....why was I not guided in what was to happen? It is like I was left in darkness to find my way with no voice to guide me." She looks up at you determined. "I found my way and I want to keep going. I know it will be hard and dangerous. If that is my path, then I should walk it. I know I started late and have tried to catch up to where I should be. I stumbled and was hurt but I keep getting up. Please allow me to be guided until I can find my footing."

There is a brief pause then she bows from her seated position. "I respect you greatly and don't wish to disappoint you but I know somehow I already have. I hope you find it in yourself to forgive me for my failures."

I have fought for my place all my life and it was denied to me. I found a part of me with Obaasan. It was hard but felt right to me. I know I was meant for more even then. That feeling in my heart is what made me push forward all those times I wanted to stop. It was hard but it filled me with purpose and direction. I didn't have that with my father.
Haruto frowns and replies.
"You have done enough... now you've the opportunity to stop and correct your Direction or keep going down the wrong direction. The Path you're walking follows the void of your Heart, nothing more..."

Again with a harsh tone Haruto replies lowering his voice...
"You were in the Land of the Dead, not in a Dream, advised by our most wise Ancestors and yet you chose a different path than the one shown to you...It wasn't a delusion but a lesson that you failed to understand..."

I was left lost on the mountain for a long time with no food and no water and no weapon to defend myself. I didn't know how to take care of myself because I was not guided nor was I told what was to happen. I became sick and was hunted by a large beast who hurt me in the same way the dream people did but more physically."
Haruto lowers his head in shame, then replies.
"An small price for dishonoring our Ancestors..." he murmurs.

"If you feel I am unworthy now, when I am so close to finding myself, why have I taken this journey? Why was obaasan so willing to start me on this path when I asked for help? Why....why was I not guided in what was to happen? It is like I was left in darkness to find my way with no voice to guide me."
Long no Heike patience was being tested, he kept silence for the rest of the conversation understanding that Kaida wasn't ready, she was self absorbed unwilling to continue down the right path.

"I found my way and I want to keep going. I know it will be hard and dangerous. If that is my path, then I should walk it. I know I started late and have tried to catch up to where I should be. I stumbled and was hurt but I keep getting up. Please allow me to be guided until I can find my footing."

He seemed to become stone hard like a statue of his seeming.

"I respect you greatly and don't wish to disappoint you but I know somehow I already have. I hope you find it in yourself to forgive me for my failures."

Haruto meditates on Kaida's words and after a few minutes of silences he says.
"How can I fill a cup that's already full? At so young age you speak of your life like it has passed already and you have nothing new to learn... or worst that you already know what you need to accomplish your Destiny and is all others fault that it has been denied...

I will not teach you what you want to Learn nor I will give you what you think I must."
the Elder voice got a sudden potence and resolve that left Kaida speechless for several minutes.

Kaida lowers her head and bites her lip. After a long moment she speaks softly. "I believe we may be misunderstanding each others words. I mean only the highest respect for you and the Court. I don't understand it and wish to learn so I may better do as I am intended. I know I have not learned what I need and I am eager to do so. I want to cleanse myself of my old ways so I can be pure of heart and mind for what is to come. Whatever that involves, I will endure the best I can." She remains with her head down and humble.

Without saying a word, Haruto closes his eyes focusing his Ki inside of him, creating a powerful concentration in his chest that Kaida could not see or pinpoint exactly but her intuition alert her of something ... something powerful and threatening was about to happen.

Suddenly he opens his eyes that were now flaming with a white fire, his visage changes to a dark seeming, terrorizing Kaida as he sees her beloved Papa Long transform into a Dark Monster, Akuma! Server of the Demons!

In a fraction of the blink of an eye Haruto violently erupts with an open palm strike to Kaida's forehead, hitting his middle finger against the Forehead Chakrah, unleashing all his focused power into that tiny spot, creating an energy blast so powerful that Blinds Kaida instantly...

Lost in the Sacred Mountain (Flashback) - Page 2 Hes-an-angry-Ryu

Her body doesn't move, the strike goes straight to her mind and soul ripping away every long term memory, except for the basics of her language, skills and talents. All knowledge is erased instantly, the face and love her father, the smell of sobo, her smile and rude training, everything she ever loved or hate goes into oblivion by Haruto's attack.

A second later...

Kaida opens up her eyes, looks around without recognizing anything, sits finding herself in strange clothes she had never seen in front of an old guy in similar clothing that she doesn't recognize....

She explores the strange feeling of energy coming from around the middle of Haruto curiously. Suddenly his changed to an angry monster and she wanted to get up and run away. Would that get her into trouble? Was he going to Attack her? Before she could form another thought, he strikes her forcefully in the forehead with the ball of energy. She feels a rush of burning heat flood her mind like a river of lava. She could feel her memories burning away and she closes her eyes knowing she couldn't stop it.

Her eyes move cautiously in the darkness behind her eyelids then she feels someone near her and they open. She examines the mans face carefully, trying to remember what they had been talking but not knowing of why or how long. But it must have been a while since she was here. Wherever here was. He was dressed strangely. SHE was dressed strangely. Her eyes travel over what she can see from her place as she desperately digs for what she must have been talking about so not to be rude. He looked like he was waiting for a response.

She notes the Budahs nearby and her eyes snap to the man in front of her. Should she ask who he is? Everyone else is sitting in silence as though waiting for something to happen. It didn't look like anyone was praying. Maybe she should wait until they are out of the temple before speaking. Yes. That sounded like the right thing. Silence until spoken to or they leave the temple. Her eyes lower to her hands, hoping she hadn't been asked something she can no longer answer.

The man standing in front of Kaida said.
"My name is Tatsudoshi Haruto Heike, I am your Master, your Maker and your Guide in this World.

Your name is Tatsudoshi Kaida, heir of my lineage and Aspirant to the Guo Long Heike Clan..."

He made a long pause before with even greater potency in his words.
"I have erased your memory as you requested to cleanse yourself from your Old Ways. You're now without prejudice to taint your behavior, to cloud your judgement.

This will be the ultimate test. To fail this Test will be to shame our family, to disgrace our lineage, a walk without honor the rest of your nights in this World, until you kill yourself or the Clan destroys you."

No knowledge of such names came to Kaida but the concept of honor and family was clear to her, since Haruto's magic didn't go that deep into her honorable soul, hence to cast out such principles would have been to erase her entirely.

Haruto continued.
"You will be properly taught in the Ways of the Guo Long Heike, I will teach you but also Guide you to become something different, something greater than you are.

Advance and I will return you parts of your Mind, fail to it and I shall take parts of your Soul."
he sentenced.

The man standing in front of Kaida said.
"My name is Tatsudoshi Haruto Heike, I am your Master, your Maker and your Guide in this World.

Your name is Tatsudoshi Kaida, heir of my lineage and Aspirant to the Guo Long Heike Clan..."

She listens carefully, knowing this is important information. Master Tatsudoshi seemed to know what he was talking about and now she knew what her name was. She hadn't realized she had lost it but now the realization hits her she had in fact not known her name.

Shock shows on her face. She must have been a tyrant to have requested such a thing. At least she had the mind to request it. Such power Master Tatsudoshi must have to be able to cleanse her. She smiles brightly and bows to him from her place at his feet, thankful for such a new start and such a powerful Master to teach her.

Haruto continued.
"You will be properly taught in the Ways of the Guo Long Heike, I will teach you but also Guide you to become something different, something greater than you are.

Advance and I will return you parts of your Mind, fail to it and I shall take parts of your Soul."

She was in awe. Everyone strives to be greater than what they already are. And to learn the ways of that governed Master Tatsudoshi was a great honour. Guo Long Geike. Such a grand name. She had a real opportunity to grow. She would also gain some of her self back. Would that be wise? Didn't she ask to be cleansed because her self was tainted in some way? Her smile falters slightly when he mentions taking parts of her soul and returning memories, but recovers. He knew what he was doing. He is wise. She would just need to be careful not to lose her soul.

Haruto narrows his eyes and suddenly shouts
"Don't you just stay there! SPEAK!" the resounding voice echoed in the room and her ears.

She starts and squeaks when he raises his voice. Her mind scrambles for something to say and she stammers over the first thing that comes to mind, trying desperately to please him.

"Th..thank you Master Tatsudoshi. I am honoured by this opportunity and the chance you have so generously given. I hope I prove worthy."

"Th..thank you Master Tatsudoshi. I am honoured by this opportunity and the chance you have so generously given. I hope I prove worthy."

Haruto nods.

He stands up and walks around with his hands behind his back saying.
"The Tatsudoshi family is been one of the most prestigious lineages for centuries... our first Ancestor served The Emperor Heike Antoku during the Nobunaga Period back at 800 AD, over twelve hundred years ago...

You should be proud to belong in such a powerful and honorable lineage...

After a century of service our Family was in the last line of defense during the Battle of Danno-ura in 1185 against the Genji, along other three families that now are the Four Pillars of the Heike Clan: Katsumoto! Taira! and Munemori!"

Haruto looks at the ceiling looking for a sign from heaven and then continues after a couple of seconds
"That night the sky was raining fire...

Thousands of arrows flying in the air reaching for the Emperor's ship! The Amateratsu! Hundreds of ships gathered to crash against each other like the waves breaching the coast during a tsunami... many great warriors of both the Minamoto Clan and the Heike fought bravely and died swiftly under the ferocious sea!

Lost in the Sacred Mountain (Flashback) - Page 2 Yoshikazu_Battle_of_Dan_no_ura

The immortals joined the fight during the night... A thousand demons running over water fighting with moon glade swords against one another, destroying all the mortals in their Path, fool enough to misstep into opposition.

Thousands of men died that night to Protect our Emperor, falling into the bottom of the sea... but death failed us that night! MOTHER NIGHT DENIED US THE RIGHT TO LEAVE THIS WORLD AND REJOIN OUR ANCESTORS!!!

Full with the weight of our armors we fell deep and deep where no light would shine... Our Emperor Antoku most loyal Adviser! His Uncle and Guardian! Master Heike Yusuke called us again!! He summoned us from the Dead to walk again among the living using his Blood Sorcery!!"

Suddenly Haruto's face changed, his eyes started to shine red and his fangs enlarged greatly passing his hand against one, to make it bleed... when a burst of blood creates a Katana that he swings to nail it against his chest! Piercing him through side to side...

Lost in the Sacred Mountain (Flashback) - Page 2 0009785991_10

Still with blood comming out of his mouth and a freaking katana through his heart he continues to say.
"I was resting on the bottom of the Dun-no-ura sea... with my enemy's sword through my heart like this...

A voice called me to serve and I accepted! Rising from the dead, emerging from the dark seas to fight against the Minamoto Immortals with all my strength!"
suddenly pulling out his blood sword from his stained kimono and swinging it in the air victorious!

Before her eyes Haruto's wound closed instantly!

She nods enthusiastically but says nothing, not wanting to interrupt him.

After a century of service our Family was in the last line of defense during the Battle of Danno-ura in 1185 against the Genji, along other three families that now are the Four Pillars of the Heike Clan: Katsumoto! Taira! and Munemori!"

Kaida makes sure to file those names away. They were very important and she wanted to honour them properly.

She listens wide eyed and her fingers gripping her knees in suspense as she leans towards Haruto, hanging on every word.

She notices he keeps saying 'we'. Was he there? What bravery and strength he must have!

Suddenly Haruto's face changed, his eyes started to shine red and his fangs enlarged greatly passing his hand against one, to make it bleed... when a burst of blood creates a Katana that he swings to nail it against his chest! Piercing him through side to side...

She cries out but doesn't move from her seat on the floor though you could tell she wanted to. She closes her eyes for a moment. He is not killing himself. He is only adding visual effects to aid in the lesson. She opens her eyes again and bites her lip in concern. It looks so real.

She jumps at the removal of the blood katana being removed from his flesh and covers her mouth to stop from calling out again.

Before her eyes Haruto's wound closed instantly!

As his wound healed, her eyes widen and her hand lowers from her mouth. She wanted to reach out and be sure her Master was whole but knew he would not damage himself if he could not handle the injury. She hesitates then speaks carefully so she is sure to get it right. "I am to take my place in an army in a fight against the Genji?" Was she really able to heal like he does? It was beautiful and terrifying at the same time. She lowers her head again and speaks "Please, Master Haruto, would you forgive my outburst? Your actions surprised me but my concern was unwarranted."
