Noisy Hunting Grounds (Ahsad)
The couple finally arrived to a room inside of the complex, regular with just a table and a few chairs, very badly illuminated. Christine sat and offered a chair to Ahsad in front of her with a movement of her hand and said.
"The Marshal has authorize you to hunt in our domain so you're free to leave and hunt in the suroundings of this building, but before you leave I'd like to make you an offer...
First I'd like to ask you a question. When we talked by the phone you said that you were vegetarian, we use that term to describe with some humor to those vampires who feed only on Animals, is that what you meant?"

Re: Noisy Hunting Grounds (Ahsad)
"I.."She laughs.
"
At the moment,..I was a literal one in life. I preffered to not feed on living beings but I am so thirsty..I fed from a homeless woman..a tiny bit she didnt see me. and I killed a rabbit in a cage and a rat or so..but tonight..I dont know..I was preserved to continue my work to find the cure for cancer."

Christine asked.
"If you were human... would you be able to work without eating?"

She frowns.

Re: Noisy Hunting Grounds (Ahsad)
Christine says.
"As a vampire you need to feed from blood, either human or animal, but here is the thing, to feed from animals you must kill them since their vitae is not strong enough to substain us, if you feed from humans you can just take what you need and let it live.
What would you prefer?"

Re: Noisy Hunting Grounds (Ahsad)
ooc would she not try to overcome this in time in game?
Though logically Christine seemed to make sense..for whatever reason she seemed to have a need for blood..
the idea of taking from another living being repulsed her yet on some level excited her. she tried before but maybe with coaches..her sire mentioned some people want to be fed on.
"Is it true some people ..want to be fed on"

Re: Noisy Hunting Grounds (Ahsad)
Christine smiled and said.
"Yes Dr. There are people you can convince to let you feed on them. We call them Herd, its not always easy but is definetly a precious good for us"
Short pause and continue.
"Mortals usually want or gifts, you can always enslave them using your blood and they will surely help you, and of course there is help in their matters or simply pleasure of our bite.
Still I must remind you that you shall not made ghouls without the Marshal's approval, risk of being punished and your ghoul destroyed. Just in case you were not aware of this rule"

"The Primogen?"
"Enslave..why would we do that?"
"Is that a new rule?"

Re: Noisy Hunting Grounds (Ahsad)
ooc not sure why that didnt make sense it seems you got the jist of it. But sure..
Ahsan listened and displayed a shocked expression.
"Why would we make slaves?"
"And do you mean the Primogen has made a new rule?" she ponders and asks
"And you say our bite is pleasurable? That is why people would wish to be bitten?"

Re: Noisy Hunting Grounds (Ahsad)
Christine says.
"Not at all Dr Patel, this is not even the Marshal's rule, it comes directly from the Prince and its been like that since the begining of his ruling, way before you arrived to New York.
About the slaves and feeding from people I can see you have strong feelings about that, many of us do, so please take it easy and one step each time, I will help you to get some blood the best I can. For now I'd advice you for a quick solution, afterwards you can consider those subjects.
So tell me, what do you want to do?"

Christine smiles and crossing her fingers over the table of the desk she says to Ahsad.
"Well that's exactly what I want you to tell me. Would you like to hunt for animal's blood or human blood?"

Re: Noisy Hunting Grounds (Ahsad)
Christine stands from her sit and says.
"Ok, follow me then.." and starts to walk outside of the room, going deeper and deeper inside the building, going down several floors, which was weird to begin with since they were in the base flat.
After few minutes the couple arrived to an steel door in the third basement, which had several animals around, from rats, really big rats to bats in the ceiling. Christine approached to it and started the slow process of open it wide for them to pass through. Eventually the door was open and Christine invited Ahsad to go ahead.
"Come on, I need to close the door behind us"

Re: Noisy Hunting Grounds (Ahsad)
* Christine giggles *
"Haha, you are very sensitive aren't you, easily impressed!" she says.
Outside of the steel door were the sewers, big and badly illuminated with the particular nasty odor of shit mixed with dirt. Ahsad could also see a few big rats and bats outside, quite less than inside.
Once the door was closed Christine started walking down to one side sidewalk of the sewer system to their right, her step was steady and silent but still fast considering she was walking not jogging. After walking for a few blocks and turning to one left and then a few rights, or may be it was left again? Ahsad was kind of lost, because of the tunnel darkness all seemed the same.
Eventually she said.
"We got here! Come 'on" she says and starts climbing to a steel ladder heading up to a sewer trap door in the ceiling. Once there she lifted the thich steel trap door with just one hand and moved aside easily and as silently as it could have been, then she got out.

Re: Noisy Hunting Grounds (Ahsad)
Climbing the ladder finally gets to a dark spot in The Bronx, full with trees and animals, much like a Zoo. Still the place was more like an animan protection zone or a natural reservation of some sort.
Christine picked the sewer door trap and place it over the hole again closing it down. Then she says.
"We're here. Let's go and pick some big animals. The bigger the better"
- Spoiler:
The Bronx Zoo is located in the Bronx borough of New York City, within Bronx Park. It is the largest metropolitan zoo in the United States, comprising 265 acres (107 ha) of park lands and naturalistic habitats, through which the Bronx River flows.
The Bronx Zoo is part of an integrated system of four zoos and one aquarium managed by the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), and is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA).

Re: Noisy Hunting Grounds (Ahsad)
The Bronx Zoo was a really big place, surrounded by high walls and hallways covered with cages was exactly the opposite of what people use to expect from a Zoo. Humans in cages, revolutionary way of showing animals indeed. Animals' enviroments were separated by high walls avoiding dangerous mix of predatory beast with preys for example but other than that each kind of animal was free to move and fool around to its desires, on the other hand passages and hallways that were made for humans to see animals in their captivity are closed and cages behind bars or reinforced glasses, each of these passage go through the zoo, from the big animals of Africa and America to the Aquarium at the end of the place.
Ahsad and Christine were in the middle of a big section full with predatory felines such as tigers and lions divided by races with subtle walls covered with camouflage. In that section were also big night birds and other unusual animals.
Christine continue walking to the next zone of the park.

- Spoiler:
Imagine this by night. Tigers with bright yellow eyes in the middle of the darkness
Re: Noisy Hunting Grounds (Ahsad)
she looks at the tigers.
"Tyger, tyger burning bright in the forest of the night, what mortal hand or eye can frame thy fearful symetry."
She follows her.
{Is that what I am now? A tyger?}She thinks.

Eventually they got to a steel door under the camouflage it had a security panel and code of four numbers that Christine introduced to open the door. The door opens and she passes through
"Come on" she says.
Once inside Ahsad could see four elephant in a very vast terrain full with weeds, trees and bushes as well as cabains for them to protect from the weather, water in an artificial river and pods for food.
"Here we are, ok go ahead. Take the biggest and be careful don't make him feel threaten" says Christine.

Re: Noisy Hunting Grounds (Ahsad)
she enters and making no sudden moves quietly and nicely approaches the biggest one.
she tries to bite its leg. and feed.
if it would fall she would avoid being crushed.
