Thy Thirst (Ahsad)

The day time ended and Ahsad rose from the dead once more, she felt a painful feeling in her throat like it was dry, as she was going throght a desert with nothing to drink. The feeling was annoying and always present.
The room around her seemed to be in order, everything exactly where she leave it the night before, the answering machine had no messages waiting nevertheless the computer had a envelop icon animation turning in the screen. The rutine in the morning started as usual, emails from investigators and scientist from all around the world exchanging their advance in a joint work with Dr. Patel, many other invitations to Simposiums and Meetings of Knowledge update and many spams, even a Viagra AD managed to got in.
As she was cleaning herself and preparing her stuff for the day there was only one thing in common, stalking her, clouding her mind. THE THIRST!

"{ccouldcould it be? the blood that I am told I need could satisfy this thirst? but I do not wish to take from a living being...if only a sythetic substitute could be formulated. perhaps from a blood bank for now, we should have samples.
She determines that perhaps an experiment is in order. She will attempt to imbibe 1 bag of blood to see if it has any effect on her condition.

Ahsad searched for the lab drinking artificial plasma expecting it to calm its thirst but after having drank she knew it was just not enough. Looking for other sources of blood she went to look for real blood from the lab's fridge, many from cancer diseased people and other kind of illness, not exactly wise to drink from those but eventually she could get to blood bags, each blood bag gave some substain to Ahsad but not as much as the actual hunt would, still she manage to calm her Thirst for now.

there she were the rest of the night working in her lab...
