Posting Rules

As briefly explained in the "Rulecraft Frame" section there are some rules about Posting.

There are three (3) types of post: Open, Closed & Secret.
Open post are meant to be public, and should be ambiented in a public place where is likely that other characters may pass by and stablish contact as intended. Titling [Open] in the post title is an invitation for characters that ALREADY KNOW yours to interact with you if they are in the same territory that you're. if any player wants to enter in an Open post but have doubts about if it is likely that she casually passes by, that player may consult the ST about that issue.

Closed post are the default kind of post, this post can be readed by other players but the title [Closed] stands that the players prefers to play alone that scene, that she prefers that no other player's character casually passes by her location or that she won't be pleased to interact with others. Nevertheless a player that is already in the same location where another player opens a [Closed] post may interact freely despite of the other player's intention.

Secret post can be only be opened by the ST it stand that is important that no other player reads it's content because of the risk of damagin their own fun. It is highly recommended that no player other than [Secret: Character's name] for whom the scene is intended read the scene.

Indistinctly of the post type it is forbbiden to use information from any scene where your character is not present, if it is proven that a player used that kind of information (meta gaming) then that player will be banned for a number of days depending on the severity of the trasgression.

Time and Space:
A character can be only in one place at any given time, that means that she can interact in only one Scene; then, after that character leave the scene, she may enter in a new one following her own storyline. In a wider picture, only one, of the five forum correspondant to the five Borough of New York City, will be open for a character at any given time, to travel to another Borough that character may use all or any of the regular traveling methods: taxi, subway, car, walk or whatever indicating to the ST where she wishes to go, as a result another forum will be opened and the former will be closed.

There is one forum that is active to all player at all times, its called "Comunication" there, all characters can post all sorts of messages directed to another character. All post in Comunication must include in it's title the bracketed name of the character to which its intended the message.

Scripts and tools:
There are certain scripts that can help us all to organize the post we write, in this section I explain the most relevant ones I've included for your use and it's meaning regarding the post structure.
Bold Font: speaking loud enough for the dialog to be audible for others than the closest people.
Italic Font: murmur and whispering
Colour Font: its used to differenciate important characters from the background characters, if it has colour then its probably important to hear that person.

Spoiler: its a very useful tool, usually employed to hide a text that its some how revealing information about the scene or the characters in it.
Hidden: the best script so far, basiclly hides the text in it for all characters that are not posting in that particular thread. Its very useful to communicate Out of Character information and rolls.
Roll: for dice rolls obviously.

There are simple but yet very important rules that all players must take in consideration when writting a post. These rules can be categorized in two general types, the firsts regarding the proper writting form and the second type would be the order of the ideas.

Writting form.

1. Each paragraph must contain a single explaination, all ideas in it must be related and centered around a topic of discussion. For example: clothes description, feelings and thoughts, enviroment relation, and so on.
   
2. Each sentence must contain one idea only. The sentences must be separated with a comma (,) when they're related and with a period (.) when they're not.
   
3. Dialogs, thoughts and all other expressions must be in a different line, separated from the text, in consequence, no dialogs are allow to be written within any other text. Also, these expressions must be between marks like ( "" or '' or <> and so on) depending on the type. Further more characters expressions must be in a different colour than the rest of the text at all times.

Order of ideas.
All posts must have an order, that is selected by the player, most posts are written progressively in chronologic order from the first action to the last, nevertheless many parts aren't actions or successions of facts in this complex scenario ideas can be written from general to specific, or from the most important to the least, regardless of the selected order all posts must have one and it shall be consistent for each player in all her posts.

Tantra was just outside waiting for Sorayya, sitting in a small chair. As usual her posture was perfect and elegant. It was unclear whether she had just arrived to her spot or was the most patient being that Sorayya had known until now. Tantra didn't seem bothered at all at that point, she was even happy to see Sorayya entering the room.
"Hello Childe, now that you seem more relaxed I'd like to talk to you about other important things...

This will be a long conversation so be patient, I don't expect you to understand everything right away but I do expect you to try. Is that ok with you?"

Tantra's voice was soothing, calm and inspiring, just as beautiful as it was dangerous.

Another post...

The security guards reacted immediately. The two men that were next to Amanda drew their guns and pointed them at Barton with the intention of shooting to kill, or at least it seemed that way to him. The others turned around and started to block the way between Hollow and Amanda. Everything was happening so fast, he was about to be kicked out of the place just like that and then Amanda said,
"Wait! I'll speak to him"

Her voice was not hers, the sound was totally different. It was clear, pristine and beautiful, like an angel talking.
